Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum kontinuierlichen Herstellen von mit Querrillen versehenen Rohren aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, bei der das aus der Düse einer Strangpresse austretende plastische Rohr einer Formeinrichtung zuführbar ist, die eine Vielzahl von mit Querrillen versehenen, auf zwei endlosen Bahnen bewegbare Formhälften aufweist, wobei in das durch einen ortsfesten Pfropfen abschliessbare Rohr ein Druckmedium zum Anpressen an die Formhälften einführbar ist.
Es ist eine Vorrichtung bekannt, die bei der Herstellung von glatten Kunststoffrohren in dem noch halbplastischen Rohrabschnitt einen geringen Überdruck aufrecht erhält, damit das Zusammenfallen dieses noch plastischen Rohrteiles verhindert wird. Diese Vorrichtung weist einen Pfropfen aus weichem oder hartem Material auf, der nicht abdichtet, sondern so ausgebildet ist, dass Luft abströmen kann und der durch eine das halbplastische Rohr umschliessende Induktionsspule mittelbar durch einen schwimmenden Kern kleineren Durchmessers als das Rohr oder unmittelbar durch einen undichten Pfropfen aus magnetischem Material im Rohr gehalten wird.
Diese Vorrichtung ist für die Herstellung quergerillter Kunststoffrohre ungeeignet, da der Pfropfen das Rohr dicht abschliessen muss, um im Rohrteil einen Luftdruck aufrecht zu erhalten, der die weiche Rohrwand in die Rillen der Form drückt.
Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass nach der Formeinrichtung eine an sich bekannte das Rohr umfassende, den Pfropfen festhaltende Induktionsspule vorgesehen ist. Der Pfropfen der erfmdungsgemässen Vorrichtung wird durch den Druck der eingeblasenen Luft mit dem aus der Düse austretenden Rohr von der Ausgangsstellung an der Düse beim Anfahren automatisch mitbewegt bis er an der Weiterbewegung durch das von der Induktionsspule erzeugte magnetische Feld festgehalten wird. Durch die Veränderung der Lage der Induktionsspule im Verhältnis zum Rohr lässt sich die Stellung des Pfropfens verändern, wenn dies erforderlich erscheint.
Der Pfropfen ist hinter der Form bzw. den Formbacken angeordnet, d. h. ausserhalb des plastischen Rohrbereiches, da er innerhalb des plastischen Rohrbereiches an der plastischen Wandung zum Anliegen kommen und durch das gerillte Rohr mitgenommen würde. Durch diese Anordnung des Pfropfens wird auch der Magnetfluss durch die Formbacken nicht gestört.

The invention relates to a device for the continuous production of pipes provided with transverse grooves made of thermoplastic material, in which the plastic pipe emerging from the nozzle of an extrusion press can be fed to a molding device which has a plurality of mold halves provided with transverse grooves and movable on two endless tracks, wherein a pressure medium for pressing against the mold halves can be introduced into the tube, which can be closed by a stationary plug.
A device is known which, during the production of smooth plastic pipes, maintains a slight overpressure in the still semi-plastic pipe section, so that this pipe part, which is still plastic, is prevented from collapsing. This device has a plug made of soft or hard material, which does not seal, but is designed so that air can flow out and the induction coil enclosing the semi-plastic tube indirectly through a floating core of smaller diameter than the tube or directly through a leaky plug made of magnetic material is held in the tube.
This device is unsuitable for the production of transversely grooved plastic pipes because the plug has to seal the pipe tightly in order to maintain an air pressure in the pipe part, which presses the soft pipe wall into the grooves of the mold.
The invention consists in that an induction coil, known per se, encompassing the tube and holding the plug is provided after the forming device. The plug of the device according to the invention is automatically moved by the pressure of the blown air with the pipe emerging from the nozzle from the starting position at the nozzle when starting up until it is held in the further movement by the magnetic field generated by the induction coil. By changing the position of the induction coil in relation to the pipe, the position of the plug can be changed if this appears necessary.
The plug is arranged behind the mold or the mold jaws, i. H. outside of the plastic tube area, since it comes to rest against the plastic wall within the plastic tube area and would be carried along by the grooved tube. This arrangement of the plug also means that the magnetic flux through the mold jaws is not disturbed.
