  Rohrreiniger.

  Pipe cleaner.

The pipe cleaner forming the subject of the present invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, u. between Fig. 1 shows the longitudinal section, Fig. 2 shows the cross section of the same,
 EMI1.1
 shown.

On a spindle 1 provided on both sides with screw threads are two conical,
 EMI1.2
screwed, in which slots the ends of the template of the double scraper 3 are inserted or guided and secured in their position against failure by conical, hollow adjusting sleeves 4. The double scraper 3 (Fig. 3) consists of a sheet metal template 5 (Fig. 4), which is attached conically on both sides and in the slots 6 of which two scraper plates 7 are inserted transversely, which are fastened to one another by connecting plates 8. The scraper plates 7 (FIG. 6) have the shape of segments of a circle with a slightly smaller diameter than the inner diameter and their tips are rounded.

Each of the scrapers is pressed radially outwards with the necessary elasticity by means of a leaf spring 10, which has its support points on the spindle 1 and on the scraper blade 5.
 EMI1.3
However, this is only possible up to a certain limit and if the pipe diameter has exceeded this limit, the pipe cleaner must be equipped with other, correspondingly larger double scrapers.

The pipe cleaner described is opened with one of its two spindle endons
 EMI1.4
Pulling, so when going back and forth through the pipes to be cleaned. The same does not require any stroke limitation at the remote end of the pipe, but it can be moved out through the pipe with the same without any problems, since it can be easily inserted into the pipe from both sides.

This latter property of the same makes it possible that with the pipe cleaner the
 EMI1.5
   made.
