their axes are arranged parallel to the axis of the rings in the annular gap between them and are each clamped with a part of their outer surface in trough-shaped recesses of the mutually facing concentric outer surfaces of both rings.
The effect achieved in this way is that the steered part only experiences a sliding movement along a circular path when it is deflected from the central position, which means that there is no change in the angular speed and the smooth running of the clutch is ensured.
Further features of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings, in which an embodiment of the articulated coupling according to the invention is shown. 1 shows a cross section through the articulated coupling along line II of FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the articulated coupling in the direction of the wheel set axis, FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of the entire single axle drive, FIG Line IV-IV of FIG. 2 on a larger scale and FIG. 5 shows a representation similar to FIG. 4 with deformation of the elastic bolts, caused by a deflection between the two rings.
The articulated coupling according to the invention consists of an external coupling ring and
EMI2.1
are connected whose axes are parallel to the coupling axis.
As can be seen from Fig. 4, the Gmibolzen-3-between the freely floating rings-1 and 2-are clamped. For this purpose the bolts-3-sit in a groove-5-des
EMI2.2
into which, diametrically opposite the groove --4--, a rib-6-engages on the inside of the external coupling ring-2-.
The rings - l (or l 'and l ") and 2 - are on two diametrically opposite,
EMI2.3
In order to enable the wheelset to move transversely to the hollow shaft gearbox --15--, which shift cannot be absorbed by the elastic coupling bolts alone, the driving pins -13-are longer than the bearings --21-- of the lever pairs --12-- .
In the construction according to the invention, the arrangement of rubber bolts --3-- makes the use of silent blocks in the joints of the driver levers unnecessary, which means that the joints are much smaller than in the known constructions with silent blocks and offer manufacturing and assembly advantages.
