   Wiederholt man den Test mit einer Verdünnung 1 : 50, so zeigt eine gelbgrüne Färbung eine Konzentration von etwa   l%   Glukose an. 



   Reihenuntersuchungen von Harnen mit dem erfindungsgemässen Verdünnungsröhrchen haben gezeigt, dass die systematischen Fehler durch ungenaue Verdünnung niedriger sind als die Fehler bei der in der Praxis viel angewendeten Glukosebestimmung nach der Polarisationsmethode, da viele Harnbestandteile wie Aminosäuren, Antibiotika, andere Zucker usw. den Drehwert erheblich verfälschen. Überprüft wurden die Ergebnisse der erwähnten Reihenuntersuchungen mit der   Hexokinase/Glukose-6-phos-   phatdehydrogenase-Methode, welche sehr exakt, aber auch sehr teuer, langwierig und apparativ aufwendig ist und daher im Routinebetrieb und zur Selbstkontrolle des Diabetikers nicht in Frage kommt (vgl. Klin-Wochenschrift 40 [1962],   S. 585).

   Series examinations of urines with the dilution tube according to the invention have shown that the systematic errors due to imprecise dilution are lower than the errors in the glucose determination according to the polarization method, which is widely used in practice, since many urine components such as amino acids, antibiotics, other sugars, etc., significantly falsify the rotation value . The results of the series examinations mentioned were checked using the hexokinase / glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase method, which is very precise, but also very expensive, lengthy and complex in terms of equipment and is therefore out of the question in routine operation and for self-monitoring by diabetics (cf. Klin-Wochenschrift 40 [1962], p. 585).
