Registrierendes Messgerät
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Registering measuring device
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Like all recording devices that work with permanent recording, there is a high consumption of recording media.
The invention is based on the object of developing a recording device in which the recording takes place thermally, remains visible for a certain time and is deleted again after this time has elapsed.
According to the invention, this takes place in that the writing surface located behind the endless recording medium has a heatable plate, the temperature of which is set to a value between the changeover temperature and the return temperature of the temperature measuring ink.
The invention can then be further developed to the effect that the interior of the device is shielded from the heatable plate by a heat-insulating layer. In order to be able to preserve certain parts of the recording for later evaluations, a known copier is provided above the writing surface.
The invention has the economic advantage that the recording medium can be used several times without the quality of the recording being impaired.
The subject matter of the invention will be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment. The figures show: FIG. 1 the hysteresis of a reversible temperature measurement color and FIG. 2 the principle of the recording device according to the invention.
The dependence of the hue of a reversible temperature measurement color on the temperature T has a hysteresis curve according to FIG. 1. When heated by a writing device to a temperature T = TU (transition temperature), the color A changes to the color B and then remains in the color B at a temperature T> TU. When cooling to a temperature TR <T <TU, the color substance initially remains in color B and only changes back to color A at T = TR (return temperature) and remains in color A at T <TR.
EMI2.1
Recording medium-3--, drive mechanism-4-- support medium --3-- and a writing counter surface --5--, the thermal writing element --2-- is heated to a temperature T <TU.
It generates a color change to color B at the point of contact on the recording medium --3-- which is provided with a reversible thermal color color A, so that this color change cannot be reversed immediately, the recording medium --3-- runs over one on one Writing surface --5-- made of heat-insulating material provided heating plate --6--, which keeps it at a temperature TR <T <TU. The areas that were heated by the thermal writing element --2 - remain visible and represent the measurement diagram, while the remaining parts of the recording medium are not yet subject to the color change.
After passing the heating plate --6--, the recording medium --3-- cools down and the reversible temperature measurement color returns to its original shade A.
The recording medium can be used again for new recordings. If necessary, the recording can also be copied using a conventional contact copying process, for which purpose one of the known copying devices --7-- is to be provided in the effective area of the heating plate --6--.
