Laminated magnetic circuit consisting of an anchor and a yoke
The parent patent No. 241584 relates to a laminated magnetic circuit consisting of armature and yoke, an air gap being implemented in the yoke and the yoke parts enclosing the air gap between them being fixed in the correct mutual position by a plastic covering. The magnetic circuit according to the parent patent is characterized in that the air gap has an inclined position that deviates from the normal section through the yoke parts and is thus greater than the shortest possible length.
In the practical execution of sheet metal stacks according to the parent patent, it has been shown that the finished magnet yokes, after they have been removed from the mold, sometimes no longer have exactly flat end faces, despite the fact that the metal sheets are inserted into the injection mold with precisely aligned end faces and fixed there. Investigations have shown that this phenomenon occurs particularly when the plastic enveloping the magnet yoke is unable to completely fill the narrow air gap, because this leads to a slight mutual misalignment of the package parts when the overmolded laminated core cools.
Although the associated inclination of the yoke end faces and an air gap not completely filled with plastic do not interfere with electromagnetic aspects and do not impair the advantage of the kinked, outwardly closed air gap, end faces that are not exactly flat require additional reworking by grinding.
The invention avoids the cited misalignment of the end faces of the laminated core in a simple manner in that the air gap has a widening at at least one point, which forms a channel with a diameter running perpendicular to the sheet metal lamellas and penetrating the laminated core, which is larger than the width of the air gap in his other places.
A solid plastic anchor is created in such a channel, which penetrates the stack and ensures that it is firmly held together, which makes it impossible for the package to warp as a result of the air gap being unevenly filled. It is useful if the widening is carried out in the kinks of the air gap with a zigzag air gap, u. between. Preferably on the side of the projecting surface of the kink and further preferably without extending into the opposite re-entrant surface of the kink.
If the recesses are made on the outside of the kinks of the air gap, there is the advantage that nothing of the effective air gap length is lost, to which it can be said that a stronger widening of the air gap in some areas, reducing its effect in this area, and also of a mechanical nature by opening these openings arranged in this way more favorably into the air gap, which is then more easily filled with plastic.
The schematic drawing shows an embodiment of the last-mentioned type in a plan view. The air gap S created with transverse offset V can be seen with its kinks 20 and the openings 21 provided in the outer areas thereof, which complement each other to form channels that go through the entire package. On the outside of the laminated core there is the outer plastic casing 22 and on the outer air gap openings 23 there is another embodiment of the present one
