Description

  Newspaper holders for exhibition purposes
The invention relates to a newspaper holder for exhibition purposes, in which the newspapers are held on a base plate by resilient elements and are provided with a transparent cover.

The known newspaper holders of this type have the disadvantage that they do not secure the newspapers sufficiently against the effects of the weather and theft. In addition, the handling is often complicated.

According to the invention, it is therefore proposed that newspaper holders of the type described at the outset have one or more transparent bands, preferably made of plastic, which encompass the base plate and cover the newspapers, and also tension springs arranged on the back of the base plate that can be suspended in the ends of the bands should have.

This arrangement represents a significant improvement and simplification of the known holder.

In particular, the measures according to the invention provide better protection against the effects of the weather and theft.

Further design options result from the fact that the transparent bands are made adjustable over the length of the base plate and that clamping springs are arranged on the base plate in a known manner.

The subject matter of the invention is briefly explained using an exemplary embodiment in the drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a front view, FIG. 2 is a section along the line II-II and FIG. 3 is a section along the line III-III.

The newspapers or booklets 12, 13 resting on a base plate 1 are held in place by the transparent cover strips 2, 3, preferably made of plastic, which encompass the base plate 1 and are tensioned by springs 6, 7 arranged on the back of the base plate. The springs 6, 7 can be suspended in the ends of the bands 2, 3.

In the exemplary embodiment, the bands 2, 3 are adjustable over the length of the base plate. With a tile-like overlap, there is extensive protection against rain and theft.

In order to also use heavier booklets etc. Like. To be able to hold on, clamping springs 8, 9, which are known per se in newspaper holders, can be attached.
