Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine Maschine zur Reinigung zylindrischer Bürsten, wie solche insbesondere für Walzendruckmaschinen verwendet worden.
Die Reinigung erfolgt der Erfindung gemäss in der Weise, dass die Bürsten in einem Zylinder eingeschlossen und Druckwasser in der Längsrichtung desselben durchgepresst wird. Die zu reinigende Bürste wird in eine Einspannvorrichtung festgelegt und in den Zylinder gedrückt, woselbst sie in ihrer Längsrichtung mittels einer Antriebsvorrichtung hin und her geführt wird, während das Wasser durch den Zylinder fliesst.
In der Zeichnung ist die Maschine dargestellt, und zwar zeigt : Fig. 1 die Seitenansicht ; Fig. 2 die Vorderansicht und Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach A-B der Fig. 1.
Der Zylinder r, welcher auf dem Ständer s befestigt ist, besitzt oben die Lager- hütse l für die Zahnräder z, und seitlich die Führungsbacken a für die durch diese Zahnräder angetriebenen Zahnstangen st, st, in deren Verbindungsstogen v, einerseits die Stange f mit dem Kolben k und andererseits die aus einer Schraubenspindel und einem Handrad bestehende Einspannvorrichtung p für die Bürste E angebracht ist. Der Zylinder ist an der Rückseite durch den Deckel d abgeschlossen und die durch diesen geführte Stange y mittels der Stopfbüchse b abgedichtet. Der Zylinder besitzt ferner oben einen Stutzen it, durch welchen das Druckwasser eintritt.
Zum Antrieb der Zahnräder z, z dient das Schwungrad sch, das mittels Kurbel h bewegt wird. Die Bürste E, die einen etwas kleineren Durchmesser besitzt, als der lichte Durchmesser des Zylinders beträgt, wird behufs Reinigung zwischen den in die äusserste rechte Stellung (Fig. 3) eingeschobenen Kolben k und der Einspannvorrichtung p eingespannt und unter gleichzeitiger Zuführung des Druckwasser allmählich in den Zylinder eingeschoben. Während des Einbringens und nach vollbrachtem Einbringen wird die Bürste durch die Vorschubeinrichtung von Hand in ihrer Längsrichtung in Hin- und Herbewegung versetzt, wodurch die etwas umgebogenen
Bürsten den Farbstoff abreiben und an das Druckwasser abgeben, welches am offenen
Ende des Zylinders abfliesst.
Die Reinigung der Bürste wird erheblich durch Quernuten w unterstützt, welche im Zylinder vorgesehen sind und die ein Abspritzen der abschnellenden Borsten gestatten.

The subject of the present invention is a machine for cleaning cylindrical brushes, such as those used in particular for roller printing machines.
The cleaning takes place according to the invention in such a way that the brushes are enclosed in a cylinder and pressurized water is pressed through the same in the longitudinal direction.
