Jet pipe with cock plug.
The invention extends to a jet pipe with a plug rotatable in the pipe for completely closing off the water and for achieving a full jet or a shower. What is new is that the chick has two main bore holes in one side wall, in addition to a main bore perpendicular to its axis.
EMI1.1
surrounding inflow channel is separated from the outflow channel by a wall in such a way that the water can also pass through the smaller bores with a corresponding setting of the plug.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely: FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section through the jet pipe including the plug; 1 shows a vertical section through the jet pipe with the chick removed; Figures 3 and 4 show the chick in two different positions
The housing a accommodating the chick has a wall f which separates the inlet connection g from the outlet connection A in such a way that the feed channel b runs around the cows in a sickle shape. The chick itself has three through-holes, namely a main hole c directed perpendicular to its axis and two smaller ones d and e, which are passed through a side wall, crossing one another, and which open into the main hole c.
If the chick is set as shown in FIG. 2, the water flows through the large opening c as a full jet; if the plug is turned clockwise by 900, the water is completely shut off; If, on the other hand, the chick is turned by the same amount in the opposite direction from the first mentioned position, the water must take its way over the sickle-shaped channel b through the perforation c and from there through the smaller perforations d and e and then emerges as a shower. This division of the water is very thorough, because the two jets flowing out of the through-holes d and e, as a result of the intersecting holes d and e, circle in opposite directions on the inner wall of the outlet connection and thereby divide each other.
In addition, the two jets do not meet immediately when they exit the chick, but only after they have already split on the wall of the nozzle, which increases the atomization of the water jets. The tap can be opened and closed by a handle; but it can also be done mechanically by worm gears or the like.
