Finally, the invention can also be seen in the fact that an installation device particularly suitable for the support element according to the invention consists of two base shells with which it engages in the recess of the support element and is held together without screws by the clamping force of the material of the support element.
The invention is shown in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 1 is a section through the support member with built-in installation device, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the support member with built-in installation device and Fig. 3 is a side view of the support member with built-in installation device, Fig. 4 is a section through the support member without installed installation device.

The installation device 2 is fastened in the flush-mounted installation box 1 by means of a support member 3.
In the exemplary embodiment, the installation device 2 is a button.

forms. According to the invention, the support member 3 can be a support basket, support ring, support web or the like. A carrier basket is shown in the example. The support basket 3 consists of an annular flange 3a, in which special keyholes 3e are provided for screw fastening to a flush-mounted installation box 1. A basket-shaped web 3b is molded onto this flange, which preferably has a cross shape due to additional connecting webs 3i, forms a solid base, accommodates the installation device 2 and gives it a secure support.
In two opposite side walls of the carrier basket, directed perpendicularly to the flange 3a, windows 3c are attached, which serve to receive and hold the projections 2d formed on the base lower part 2a and upper part 2b. This, as well as the wall of the carrying cage 3 lying above the window 3c, are slightly beveled, as a result of which a good and easy fitting of the installation device 2 with the carrying cage 3 is made possible.
The fact that the carrier basket 3 is made of thermoplastic material, which has a certain inherent elasticity, is a tolerance compensation when the installation device 2 is plugged into one another

the recess or the like 'formed. To stabilize the support basket 3 for receiving the installation device 2, the reinforcement webs 3h are molded onto it.
In addition to the screw fastening of the support member 3 on the flush-mounted installation box 2, a spreading fastening is provided. For this purpose, special expanding claws 4 are suspended in the support member 3, which are actuated by the fastening screws 5. The cover plate 6 serves to cover the installation device. It can be screwed directly onto the support element 3 by means of screws. In order to save the pressing of threaded holes into the support element 3, it is sufficient to press through-holes 3f into the support element for receiving self-tapping screws.
It is also easily possible to fasten the cover plate 6 to the support member 3 without screws, for which purpose either the cover plate 6 or the support member 3 or the cover plate 6 and the support member 3 can be molded with special devices. In Fig. 1 of the embodiment, a possibility is shown in that the cover plate 6 is formed with a pin 6a, the end of which is slightly stronger than its shaft and which can be received in a bore 3f of the support member 3.
The cover plate 6 has a bore or a window for receiving the actuating member 2c for the installation device 2.
According to the invention, when a rocker switch or toggle switch is installed, the bearings for mounting the rocker switch or the rocker arm can be molded directly onto the support member 3.
