runs. The more the wall of a diffuser is curved outwards in the direction of flow, the greater is the conversion of velocity pressure into static pressure, the greater is each (also the risk that the flow becomes too slow, detaches itself from the wall and thus the flow
EMI2.1
Flow tubes are adjacent to curve more than all other walls. In connection with (the above-mentioned measures of the invention which have the effect that the slow edge flow is reduced), this results in the shape of a diffuser whose central axis is curved.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. It shows FIG. 1 a schematic section perpendicular to the rotor axis of rotation of the exemplary embodiment and FIG. 2 a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1.
EMI2.2
It rotates in the direction of arrow 4. In the interaction of rotor and guide walls, a vortex flow with a vortex core region K is generated, which strongly deflects the throughput. I housing 5 of the tangential pump, which forms a suction area 6 and the outlet channel 7 designed as a diffuser, is partially surrounded by a further outer housing 8, which communicates with the suction area 6 via openings and with the outlet channel 7 via slot-shaped openings 10.
The outlet channel 7 is moreover directly connected to the suction area 6 via slot-shaped openings 11 in the wall common to the outlet area and the suction area
A pivotable flap 12 is mounted in the inlet opening of the tangential pump, by means of which pivoting the pump can be regulated. If the flap is set so that there is a very strong throttling of the pump, a high negative pressure arises in the suction area 6, which acts on the openings 9 and thus via the housing 8 on the openings 10 and on the openings.
The relatively large, slow portion of the throughput flow with strong throttling. is sucked off by the negative pressure acting on the openings, so that a loss of pressure can take place in the diffuser. The slow flow portion is returned to the pump circuit according to arrows 13 or while maintaining its kinetic energy and is not lost. The slow flow component is separated off completely automatically, depending on the degree of throttling of the pump.
Another way of regulating the flow rate of the pump is a small pivotable flap 15 near the vertebral core area R, by pivoting the circulation <of the vortex field and thus the throughput can be influenced within wide limits. The measures of the invention also work with this A of the throughput control. The rotor 1 is mounted on a shaft 16 which is driven by a motor (not shown) and which is guided through the housing 5.
The fastest flow tubes of the throughput flow come from the vicinity of the vortex core area K. They therefore run in the vicinity of the wall separating the diffuser from the suction area, together (wall 17. This is therefore more curved outwards than the other walls of the diffuser outlet Curved central axis of the diffuser.
