Selbsterregter, selbstregelnder Synchrongenerator

Self-excited, self-regulating synchronous generator
It is known that self-excited, self-regulating synchronous generators that work according to the compounding principle are built in such a way that the load-independent excitation component is supplied via a choke and the load-dependent component is supplied via current transformers. These two excitation current components are added geometrically and fed to the pole wheel via a rectifier. In this embodiment, however, it has been shown that the generation of such controllable current transformers encounters technical workshop difficulties, which are mainly based on the fact that the work time is increased considerably as a result of the complicated structure of these current transformers.
Since the current transformers used are controlled with the aid of premagnetization, they require the use of special sheets that show a rectangular magnetization characteristic, which increases the costs of building current transformers. Since the control power of controllable current transformers should be as low as possible, toroidal transformers are the cheapest. However, the use of toroidal cores has the disadvantage that the winding has to be threaded in by hand or that your own winding machines are required, which increases construction costs again, which is even more important for current transformers that can be controlled by pre-magnetization, since here primary, secondary and control winding must be applied.
In a further known circuit (British Patent No. S'71, 631), a controllable transductor is connected in series with the converters and chokes working on the excitation circuit on the AC side of the rectifier adding up the two excitation current components. This has the advantage that a generator is initially equipped with a compounding device and subsequently, if the customer requires increased voltage accuracy or frequency independence, supplemented with a control part in the form of a controllable transducer with a measuring mechanism. A major disadvantage of this circuit is the shunting of an ohmic resistor (pole wheel) with an inductance (transducer), which means that the size of the transducer is large and this again causes an expensive measuring mechanism with several amplifier stages.
The subject of the invention is a self-excited, self-regulating synchronous generator, in which the load-independent excitation component is supplied via a choke and the load-dependent component is supplied via current transformers and the converters and chokes working on the excitation circuit on the alternating current side of the rectifier summing the two excitation current components have a controllable transducer connected in parallel to the pole wheel is. According to the invention, an ohmic resistor or capacitor is connected in series with each working winding of the transducer.
This solution according to the invention has the advantage that when the additional resistor or capacitor is used, a significantly smaller transducer is sufficient for the same voltage accuracy. The control output is also reduced by the same amount, so that the measuring mechanism part can also be dimensioned significantly smaller. The installation of the resistor or the capacitance also increases the control accuracy.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
FIG. 1 shows the circuit according to the invention and FIG. 2 shows the vector diagram of the currents.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes the three-phase network fed by the synchronous generator 3, in whose supply

line to the generator, the current transformers 2 are switched on, which supply the load-dependent component of the excitation current. At points 8, 8 'and 8 ″, the voltage-dependent component is added geometrically to this excitation current component by the current transformers 2, which comes from the choke 4, which is also connected to the three-phase supply line 1. 6 represents the transducer, which is Control direct current 7 is premagnetized and is connected in series with the choke 4 and in parallel with the pole wheel 9. An ohmic resistor 10, for example, is connected to the transductor 6 in series with each of its working windings.
The total current, which is now influenced by the resistor 10 and the transducer 6 and added at points 8, 8 'and 8 ", is fed to the pole wheel 9 via the rectifier 5 and thus excites the synchronous generator.
The associated vector diagram of the currents is shown in FIG. 2, in which the influence of the resistor 10 can be clearly seen. Without resistor 10, the rotor current Ip and the current IMV flowing in the transducer add up at right angles to the total current from the choke and current transformer. Due to the influence of the additional resistor 10, the ohmic component predominates, especially with increasing saturation of the transducer, and the same pole wheel current Ip is thus achieved with a significantly lower current IMV. Since the working current of the current-controlled transducer is proportional to the control current, there is also a reduction in the control power.
