Contact, especially selector contact for tap changers
The invention relates to a contact, in particular a selector contact for tap changers, the contact-making elements of which rest on the mating contacts under the pressure of spring bodies, the mating contacts being received between two contact-making elements.
Step switches have the task in transformer construction with voltage fluctuations depending on the
Requirement to connect or disconnect parts of the windings. They are arranged next to the active part of the transformer inside the vessel, and there is therefore a requirement to keep the enclosed space of the transformer as small as possible, including only the smallest of the tap changers
Dimensions to manufacture.
The dimensions of the tap changer are essentially determined by the insulation distances to be observed, which must be controlled within the tap changer from tap contact to tap contact, but also from the tap contacts of one phase to those of the other phase. The moving contacts in known tap changers do not meet the requirement, however, since these contacts, consisting of a system of flat components, with spring bodies arranged outside these flat components, have exceptionally large dimensions in order to achieve good contact pressure. It is therefore the object of the invention to create a contact for tap changers which, with the smallest dimensions, contributes to reducing the dimensions of tap changers or to improving the electrical strength of the tap changers.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that at least one compression spring is provided within an opening of the contact-making elements provided axially for contact, which is supported on both sides of the contact on a cover plate embedded in the contact-making elements, and this again via bolts in the opposite contact-making element Element are held, the two contact-making elements being spaced within the contact via a disc loosely guided by the bolts.
In order to obtain the largest possible contact-making surface, the cover plates are advantageously each held in the opposite contact-making element by means of three bolts that are provided evenly on the circumference.
This will be explained in more detail using a representation of an exemplary embodiment according to the invention.
The drawing shows a contact of the type according to the invention, in which the two contact-making elements are designated by 1 and 2, between which the mating contacts 3 and 4 are received at the ends. To achieve the required contact pressure, the contact-making elements 1 and 2 are indirectly under the action of the compression springs 5, one of which is advantageously one with a left-hand thread and the other one with a right-hand thread, which are supported on the cover plates 6 and 7. The cover plates 6 and 7 are connected via the bolts 8 and 9 to the opposing contact-making elements 1 and 2, so that due to the pressure exerted by the spring 5 on the cover plates 6 and 7, the contact-making elements via the bolts 8 and 9 to the mating contacts 3 and 4 are used.
The bolts 8 are offset by 600 with respect to the bolts 9, of which three bolts are arranged evenly distributed over the circumference of the cover plates 6 and 7. 10 with a loosely guided by the bolts 8 and 9 disc is referred to, which is used to distance the contact-making elements and can also serve as a drive member of the contact itself through further training.
