Oberhalb der Legetrommel 31 wird das Wäschestück ebenfalls ein-oder mehrmals quergefaltet. Zum Falten dienen die in der Zeichnung in kleinerem Massstab dargestellten an sich bekannte   Klemm-bzw. Haltevorrichtungen 35,   die aus mehreren Einzelteilen bestehen, insbesondere eine Klemmplatte 38 aufweisen. 



   Gelangt das vorgeschobene Wäschestück 12 - wie dargestellt - mit seiner Vorderkante 12a an an sich bekannte Fühler 42,43, so werden diese angehoben. Beim weiteren Vorschub des Wäschestückes 12 auf den Förderbändern 26a oder auf die Legetrommel 31 wird die Wäsche in bekannter Weise durch Einklemmen mittels der Klemmplatte 38 gehalten und durch Abwälzen gefaltet.
