Gartenschirm
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Gartenschirme aller Art, wie sie als Schutz gegen Sonnenstrahlen und
Regen vielfach verwendet werden. Es sind auf diesem Gebiete hauptsächlich zwei verschiedene Modelle bekannt : solche, bei denen das auf- und zuspannbare Schirmdach an einem Schirmstock angeordnet ist, dessen Verlängerung nach unten, mit oder ohne Gelenk, direkt oder indirekt am Boden abgestützt ist und solche, bei denen dieses Dach freitragend an einem waagrechten oder leicht geneigten Arm hängt, wel- cher seinerseits an einem ausserhalb der Spannweite des Schirmdaches befindlichen Ständer gehaltert ist.
Dieses letztere Modell hat gegenüber dem ersteren den Vorteil, dass es die vom Schirmdach geschützte
Fläche vollkommen frei lässt und auch ein Verschwenken des Schirmdaches nach allen Richtungen gestattet. Hingegen ist seine Bedienung umständlicher und die bisher bekannten Ausführungen waren un- zweckmässig ausgebildet, unstabil und kostspielig.
Der den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Gartenschirm gehört der zweiten Gruppe an. Er hat ein
Schirmdach, das an einem Arm durch ein ein-und feststellbares Kugelgelenk hängend befestigt ist. Der erfindungsgemässe Gartenschirm ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kugel oder die gehäuseartig ausgebildete Kugelpfanne des Kugelgelenkes mindestens zweiteilig ausgebildet ist und die beiden Teile im
Verhältnis zueinander beweglich sind, wobei die diese Bewegung betätigende Feststellvorrichtung für das Kugelgelenk unterhalb des Schirmdaches angeordnet ist.
Die Kugelpfanne besteht im Rahmen der Erfindung aus einem gehäuseartigen, die Kugel übergreifenden Teil und einem in diesem beweglichen Anpressteil, wobei das als Schirmstock ausgebildete Feststellorgan mit dem beweglichen Anpressteil der Kugelpfanne in Wirkverbindung steht. Ein weiteres wesentliches Merkmal besteht darin, dass der Schirmstock an seinem oberen Ende einen Gewindeansatz aufweist, der in ein in den gehäuseartigen Teil der Kugelpfanne eingeschraubtes Gewindestück eingreift.
Ferner ist im Rahmen der Erfindung der Schirmstock als Stockstummel ausgebildet, an dessen freiem Ende ein schwenkbarer Hebel sitzt, der in ausgeschwenkter Stellung einerseits einen Hebel für das Drehen des Schirmstockes und anderseits bei aufgespanntem Schirmdach das Auflager für den Schirmschieber bildet, wobei der schwenkbare Hebel an seinem freien Ende vorzugsweise ein Griffloch aufweist. Schliesslich ist erfindungsgemäss vorgesehen, dass das Schirmdach auf dem Schirmstock drehbar gelagert ist, wobei es zweckmässig durch die Feststellvorrichtung des Kugelgelenkes mitblockierbar ist.
In der Zeichnung sind Ausführungsbeispiele des Gartenschirmes gemäss der Erfindung schematisch dargestellt. Es zeigt : Fig. l eine Gesamtansicht, Fig. 2 in grösserem Massstab und im Axialschnitt die Einund Feststellvorrichtung zwischen Tragarm und Schirmdach, Fig. 3 und 4 einen Längsschnitt und eine Frontalansicht einer Führungsscheide, die die Verbindung zwischen dem Ständer und dem Tragarm für das Schirmdach herstellt, Fig. 5 und 6 in einer Frontalansicht und einem Längsschnitt eine Ausführungsvariante dieser Führungsscheide.
Das auf-und zuspannbare Schirmdach l kann rund sein oder jede beliebige andere Form aufweisen.
Es ist an einem Tragarm 2 hängend befestigt, der an einem Ständer 3, 3'festgehalten ist. Das Schirmdach 1 besteht in bekannter Weise aus dem Schirmgestell und dem Stoffbezug. Der Tragarm 2, der eine Stange oder ein Rohr mit vorzugsweise nicht kreisrunden Querschnitt ist, nimmt eine leicht ansteigende Lage ein und ist am vorderen Ende bogenförmig abgewinkelt. Der Ständer 3, 3'ist als teleskopartig ausziehbares Rohr ausgebildet, das mit seinem unteren Ende in einem massiven Sockel 4 oder einem mehrfüssigen Ständer steckt oder mit Klemmvorrichtungen versehen ist, mittels welchen es beispielsweise mit

einem Geländer oder einer Mauer ortsfest verbunden werden kann.
Das Schirmdach l ist mittels eines Kugelgelenkes am Tragarm 2 befestigt. Letzterer endigt in Form einer Kugel 10 (Fig. l und 2), an welcher das ganze Schirmgestell mit dem Schirmdach 1 hängt. Als Führung für den Schieber 11 (Fig. l) des auf-und zuspannbaren Schirmgestelles besitzt der Schirm einen kurzen, als Stummel ausgebildeten Schirmstock 12, der an seinem freien Ende in einem schwenkbaren Hebel 13 endigt. Wenn der Schirm geschlossen ist, stellt der Hebel 13 die gradlinige Fortsetzung des Schirmstockes 12 dar und wird in dieser Stellung durch eine Sperrfeder 14 festgehalten. Er behindert solcherart in keiner Weise das Auf- und Zuspannen des Schirmdaches 1, da der Schieber 11 des Schirmgestelles frei über ihn hinweggleitet.
Am freien Ende des Hebels 13 ist ein Griffloch 27 vorgesehen, in das beim Aufspannen des Schirmes ein Finger gesteckt werden kann, um den dem Spanndruck entgegengesetzten Zug auf den Schirmstock 12 wirksam ausüben zu können. Der Oberteil 12'des Schirmstockes 12 endigt in einem Gewindensatz 15. der in ein Gewindestück 15'geschraubt ist.

Diese Anordnung ermöglicht es, das Schirmdach von unten her in jeder beliebigen Winkellage einzustellen und zu blockieren, so dass auch grosse Schirme dem Sonnenstand angepasst werden können, ohne dass es nötig wäre, sie für jede neue Einstellung zusammenzuklappen.
Der gehäuseartige Teil 16 kann an seinem oberen Rand wenigstens einen Ausschnitt 16'aufweisen, um den Verstellungswinkel des Kugelgelenkes vergrössern zu können.
Über dem Schirmdach 1 ist eine zentrale Abdeckscheibe 18 vorgesehen, welche den Stoffbezug gegen die Krone 28 drückt. Die Abdeckscheibe 18 und die Krone 28 sind zusammen auf einer Hülse 19 befestigt, die auf den Oberteil 12'des Schirmstockes 12 aufgeschoben ist. Die Lagerung der Hülse 19 kann so ausgebildet sein, dass entweder die Hülse 19 mit dem Schirmdach 1 um den Schirmstock 12 gedreht werden kann, oder dass sie, beispielsweise gleichzeitig mit dem Festklemmen des Kugelgelenkes 10, 16, 17, blockierbar ist. Die Krone 28 kann aber auch mit dem Schirmstock 12 dauernd fest verbunden sein.
An dem oberen Ende des Ständeroberteils 3 ist mittels einer Hülse 5, eine Führungsscheide 6 für den Tragarm 2 angeordnet (Fig. i und 3). Diese Führungsscheide kann sich entweder mittels ihrer Hülse 5 um den Ständeroberteil 3 drehen und durch eine Klemmschraube 7 in jeder gewünschten Stellung blockiert werden, oder mit dem Oberteil 3 fest verbunden sein, in welchem Falle der Oberteil 3 im hohlen Unterteil 3'gedreht werden kann. Die Scheide 6 hat einen dem Querschnitt des Tragarmes 2 entsprechenden, beispielsweise rechteckigen Querschnitt und dient als Führungselement für diesen letzteren. Da sich das Gewicht des Schirmdaches 1 einseitig auf den Tragarm 2 auswirkt, ist es im allgemeinen nicht nötig, diesen in seiner Führungsscheide 6 festzuklemmen, weil infolge dieses Gewichtes an sich schon eine gewisse Sperrung bzw.
Verkantung des Tragarmes in der Führungsscheide auftritt. Nichtsdestoweniger kann in der Führungsscheide 6, z. B. am hinteren Ende, eine Art Klemmbacke 8 vorgesehen sein, die mittels einer Klemmschraube 9 von unten an den Tragarm 2 angepresst werden kann und dadurch eine absolute Feststellung desselben in der Führungsscheide 6 bewirkt. Durch die Ausbildung der Führungsscheide 6 und des Tragarmes 2 ist dieser in weiten Grenzen ausziehbar und damit die Möglichkeit gegeben, das Schirmdach 1 in verschiedene Abstände zum Ständer 3, 3'zu bringen. Falls es gewünscht wird, den Tragarm 2 kürzer zu halten, kann die Führungsscheide 6 entsprechend länger ausgebildet werden, so dass der Tragarm 2 in der Führungsscheide 6 teleskopartig ausgezogen werden kann.
Bei der in den Fig. 5 und 6 dargestellten Ausführungsvariante weist die Führungsscheide 20 eine obere Führungswand 21 und eine untere Führungswand 22 auf, die gegeneinander in der Durchgangsrichtung des Tragarmes 2 verschoben sind u. zw. derart, dass die Führungsscheide 20 gegen das Schirmdach 1 zu rechts in Fig. 6) nach oben offen ist und am entgegengesetzten Ende nach unten. Diese Ausbildung ermöglicht es, den Tragarm 2 beim Verschieben so anzuheben, dass er um die vorzugsweise gebrochene Kante 23 schwingt, jedoch nur so weit, bis er an der Kante 24 zum Anschlag kommt. Zum besseren Ver- itändnis ist der Tragarm 2 einerseits mit strichpunktierten Linien in der Ruhestellung eingezeichnet und anderseits mit gestrichelten Linien in der angehobenen Stellung.
Obwohl grundsätzlich die durch den Gar- : enschirm bewirkte einseitige Belastung des Tragarmes 2 eine Verkantung bewirkt, die ein Verschieben iesselben in der Führungsscheide 20 verhindert, ist zusätzlich eine Feststellrippe 25 vorgesehen, in welshe Ausnehmungen 26, die in bestimmten Abständen an der Unterfläche des Tragarmes 2 angeordnet sind,

einrasten können. Die Feststellrippe 25 kann auch durch einen Dorn ersetzt werden, der in Löcher am Tragarm einrastet. Diese zusätzliche Sicherung verhindert, dass der Tragarm 2, wenn beispielsweise der Wind den Gartenschirm ieicht anhebt, sich in der Führungsscheide 20 verschiebt.
Durch die in den Fig. 3-6 beschriebene Anordnung kann auch die Entfernung des Schirmdaches 1 vom Ständer 3, 3'vom Schirmdach bzw. vom Schirmstock aus verändert werden, ohne dass es nötig wäre, den Sitzplatz unter dem Schirmdach zu verlassen und irgendwelche Manipulationen am Schirmständer 3, 3'vorzunehmen.
Der beschriebene und gezeichnete Gartenschirm bietet somit auf einfachste Weise fast unbegrenzte Ein-und Feststellmöglichkeiten und kann trotzdem zu einem angemessenen Preis hergestellt werden.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Gartenschirm, dessen Schirmdach an einem Arm durch ein ein-und feststellbares Kugelgelenk hängend befestigt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kugel (10) oder die gehäuseartig ausgebildete Kugelpfanne (16,17) des Kugelgelenkes mindestens zweiteilig ausgebildet ist und die beiden Teile im Verhältnis zueinander beweglich sind, wobei die diese Bewegung betätigende Feststellvorrichtung für das Kugelgelenk unterhalb des Schirmdaches angeordnet ist.
