a specific factor a and b can be changed, as indicated in FIG. The constant power sum then corresponds to equation a. x + b. y = c.
A change in the vector b means a change in the rotor angle according to FIG. 2 and a change in the vectors a and b at the same time.
EMI2.1
Contains active power and a measuring mechanism MB for reactive power, both of which work together on a trip circuit A of the machine, not shown. Both measuring units can work according to the Ferrais system and can be single or multi-phase. Both measuring mechanisms can work on a common or a separate drive pulley, which in turn are arranged on an axis. The torque of a return spring counteracts the torque that is transmitted from the drive pulley or pulleys to the shaft. The adaptation of the measuring device to a certain no-load / short-circuit ratio as well as to a certain limit value of the rotor angle takes place by changing the vectors a and b.
To do this, it is necessary to change the currents or voltages supplied to the measuring mechanisms. For this purpose z. B. the measured variable is fed to the current path of the active power meter MW via a tapped transformer T1 and the measured variable is supplied to the reactive power meter MB via the secondary winding of the transformer T through a primary winding of a second transformer T in series with the secondary winding of the transformer T1. The secondary winding also has different taps to change the rotor angle.
By changing the secondary voltage of the transformer T, the current or the voltage in both measuring units is influenced jointly and thereby a change in the no-load short-circuit ratio is achieved. The two measuring units are connected to one phase of the network N via a current transformer T. The voltage paths of both measuring units are connected to a voltage transformer set T which is also fed from the network N on the primary side.
The Ferraris measuring units are usually braked by a permanent magnet, the

Steering angle of the Ferrari disk from the rest position. The first torque component, which is dependent on the angular velocity, forces a time-delayed measurement, so that the trigger time corresponding to the response characteristics of such Ferraris measuring units becomes smaller the more the torque exceeds the response value, which corresponds to the steady tilt angle lik, i.e. H. the greater the risk of falling out of a sudden change.
In order to achieve the appropriate adaptation of the full-length characteristic curves according to FIG. 5 in turbo generators, a saturation reactor or another non-linear resistor is arranged in the current path of the reactive power meter MB and an ohmic resistor is placed parallel to the secondary winding of the transformer T2.
In order to obtain an appropriate adaptation of the characteristic curves (fully extended) for salient pole machines shown in FIG. 6, the transformer T2 is expediently designed as a saturation transformer or operated in saturation.
The stator voltage, the rotor current or the rotor voltage in particular can be used as disturbance variables. The supply of one of these variables has the effect that after the permissible tilting angle q k is exceeded, the faster the machine is switched off, the more the reactive current draw from the network leads to a drop in the network voltage or the lower the excitation. On the other hand, the greater the excitation or the less the mains voltage deviates from its normal value, the greater the time delay in disconnection.
Instead of Ferraris measuring units, an arrangement with moving coil relays can also be used to generate the total. The power measurement takes place with the aid of a rectifier bridge circuit known per se in distance relays, in which the geometric sum of the difference between voltage and current is formed with the aid of two converters. The measurement of active and reactive power can be carried out separately using a moving coil relay with two windings, whereby an adjustment to the desired shape of the response characteristics of the protection can easily be brought about by switching on non-linear resistors.
The present example relates to generators. In the case of motors, only the direction of the current through the active power meter needs to be reversed.
