status 4 to be transferred. The voltage at this impedance 4 acts against the voltage at the impedance 5, which is formed by the current of the current transformer 6.

The resulting current, which is rectified by means of the rectifier 7, is lower than the measured current. The output of the comparison and amplification element 8 is therefore greater than was the case when the correction was introduced and thus compensates for the original current reduction with larger loads. FIG. 3 shows a new characteristic curve (drawn with a thick line) in which the equalization of the upper part of the original curve (indicated with a broken line) and thereby also the reduction in the original tolerance can be seen.

In some circuits, the load impedance 5 can advantageously be used, which is formed by the parallel and series connection of some elements with different frequency and thermal properties.

The circuit arrangement according to the invention enables the control accuracy to be increased by reducing the deviation of the output current by half. With demanding controllers such as B. for controlling the brightness of the airport lighting, it is necessary to achieve the greatest possible accuracy in the power source so that the resulting tolerance of the brightness, which also includes the tolerances of the lightbulbs and the distribution transformer, in the lighting is as small as possible.
