Detect the stop lever 3, the release spring 23 overcoming the spring 16 of the stop lever 3.
The device works as follows:
When the release lever 2 is actuated in the direction of the arrow against the release spring 23, the
Arm 22 from the stop lever 3, so that it hits the pointer 14 as a result of the spring 16 with the toothed curve 15. The position of the pointer 14 corresponds to the brightness measured by the photo element 13 and the galvanometer 1. The shaft 18 is adjusted together with the contact disk ri via the toothing 4.
When further depressing the release lever 2, the arm 22 actuates the switch 21, whereby the
Circuit for the electric motor 8 is closed. Depending on the position of the sliding contacts 6 on the
Contact tracks 19, the pinion 9 of the electric motor rotates clockwise or counterclockwise and thus rotates the gearwheel 10 until the sliding contacts come to rest on the areas of the contact disk 5 free of contact tracks. This interrupts the power supply to the electric motor and switches off the motor. This rotation of the gear 10 also recorded the pinion 11 of the actuating shaft 20, which automatically sets one or more adjusters of exposure factors according to the measured brightness.
After completing the setting process, the exposure process is finally initiated.

PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Automatic exposure setting device for photo-taking devices, wherein an electric motor executing the adjusting movement can be driven in both directions of rotation as a function of the deflection of the pointer of an exposure meter, characterized in that it can be guided against the pointer (14) with a known per se as a result of a spring (16) Stop lever (3) is coupled to a contact disk (5), on whose contact tracks (19) connected to the electric motor (8) and connected to the electric motor (8) slide sliding contacts (6) which are arranged isolated from one another and located in the supply circuit of the motor.
