Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt die Herstellung einer einfachen, leicht handlichen und dabei eine Zierde für jeden Toilettetisch bildenden Vorrichtung zum Reinigen und Polieren der Fingernägel und besteht dieselbe im wesentlichen aus einem Auflager für den zu behandelnden Finger und einem über letzteren hin und her bewegbaren Polierkörper, der bei seiner Bewegung mit dem Polierbelag den Fingernagel blank reibt, ohne die anschliessenden Hautpartien zu verletzen.
Die Zeichnung stellt eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung mit schwingbar aufgehängtem Polierkörper in Fig. 1 im Längsschnitt und in Fig. 2 in Vorderansicht dar ; Fig. 3 zeigt die Art der Benützung der Vorrichtung in schaubildlicher Darstellung.
Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem auf gemeinsamer Tragplatte a angeordneten Fingerauflager b (Amboss), dessen den Finger aufnehmender Teil c zwecks besserer Stützung desselben vorzugsweise Imfenartig ausgeführt ist, und einem aufrechten Ständer d, an welchem der Polierkörperf um einen Zapfen 9 pendelnd aufgehängt ist. Die Tragstange li des Polierkörpers ist nach der in Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellten Ausführungsform hob ! nnd nimmt im Innern eine Feder i auf, die sich mit dem einen Ende von unten gegen den Drehzapfen g, mit dem anderen Ende gegen einen Boden oder vollen Teil der Stange h stützt und den Polierkörper f abwärts gegen den Amboss b c drückt.
Wird ein Finger auf die Ambossstütze c, mit dem Nagel nach oben gekehrt, aufgelegt und der Polierkörperf mit der anderen Hand in hin und her schwingende Bewegung versetzt, so gleitet der Polierkörper mit leichtem Druck über den Nagel hin, ohne die denselben umschliessenden Hautränder zu verletzen, und reinigt und poliert denselben, so dass er ein schön glänzendes Aussehen bekommt. Die Polierwirkung kann durch Anwendung bekannter kosmetischer Mittel erhöht werden, die in am Untersatz a angeordneten Näpfchen k untergebracht sein können. Die nachgiebige (federnde) Lagerung der Polierkörperstange gestattet dabei, allo Finger, die doch voneinander abweichende Stärke besitzen, mit gleichem Erfolge zu bearbeiten.
Die gleiche Wirkung wird erzielt, wenn nur der Polierkörper f im Unterende seiner Stange" nachgiebig gelagert und eventuell unter Federwirkung gestellt ist ; ebenso kann statt des Polierltörpers das Auflager b c nachgiebig oder federnd gelagert sein und schliesslich könnten auch beide Teile nachgiebig in ihren Tragvorrichtungen angeordnet werden. Hervorgehoben soll noch werden, dass es nicht unbedingte Notwendigkeit ist, den Polierleörper pendelnd aufzuhängen, sondern derselbe kann auch in horizontalem Sinne oberhalb des Fingerauflagers hin und her verschiebbar sein, wobei die Nachgiebigkeit wieder durch federnde Lagerung des Poliorkörpers, der Fübrungseinrichtnng oder des Fingerauflagers erzielt werden kann.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : 1. Vorrichtung zum Polieren der Fingernägel mit einem Auflager für den Finger und einem oberhalb desselben angeordneten Polierkörper, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Polierkörper oberhalb des festen Auflagers hin und her beweglich gelagert ist.
