Wenn auch diese zweite Befestigungsart nicht ganz so nachgiebig ist, wie diejenige mittels eines dnrchgenochtenen Bandes nach Fig. 1 und 2, so besitzt sie doch hinreichende Beweglichkeit, so dass der Radreifen seine Form in der Längsrichtung verändern kann.
Durch das Umbiegen der Enden der Bügel 7 um die Achsstifte der Schuppen erhält man eine ebenso zuverlässige Verbindung des Laufkranzes mit dem Mantel und eine ebenso grosse Widerstandskraft gegen die beim Fahren und beim Bremsen auftretenden tangentialen Kräfte, wie bei Verwendung des Bandes nach Fig. 1 und 2.
