Bottle storage containers
The invention relates to a bottle storage container made of a building material with insulating properties and cavities provided therein for receiving the bottles.
In known designs of this type, for horizontal bottle storage in mostly cuboid bodies made of an insulating material, cylindrical recesses are arranged horizontally or containers made of silicified wood wool or pumice concrete are provided, the cavities of which are adapted to the dimensions of the bottles.
The invention combines this clear and protected storage of bottles with further essential advantages and extends the usability of the bottle container, in particular for the production of sparkling wine.
The bottle storage container according to the invention is characterized in that the bearing surfaces for the bottles in the recessed cavities are arranged inclined downwards for the purpose of their inclined mounting.
The inclined storage of bottles, especially for sparkling wine production, is known per se.
To store the bottles, racks made of wood or metal are used, in which the bottles, with the closure inclined downwards, are stored freely, i. H. are only slightly supported.
The invention combines the advantages of temperature resistance, resistance to breakage and the clear and convenient storage of the bottles with the advantages of inclined storage. By completely preventing the ingress of air through the closure, a better shelf life of the beverage is guaranteed. Furthermore, the inclined mounting results in a smaller thickness of the container body, whereby material is saved and more bottles can be accommodated in a given space. In addition, the inclined mounting in such a bottle container leads to a more stable mounting of the bottles despite the smaller thickness of the container and the mounting of the bottles with the neck inwards.
The recesses are best in the form of a cylinder hoof, that is to say a cylinder in which one of the base surfaces is inclined to the cylinder axis. The inclined cylinder cut surface forms the opening of the cavity. The lower edge of the cavity opening is advantageously rounded in order not to damage the bottles or labels when they are pushed in or pulled out and also to be able to vary the inclined position, as is necessary in the production of sparkling wine. For this particular purpose, the cavities can have a shape that corresponds to the penetration of at least two cylinder hooves, i. This means that a cavity is suitable for different inclinations.
This innovation for the storage of sparkling wine bottles during the production time of the sparkling wine results in the possibility of accommodating almost twice as many bottles in the same room, in addition to the more stable storage of the bottles, compared to the previous use of the so-called vibrating panels.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in section in two exemplary embodiments.
In the bottle storage container 1, which is made of cement-based fillers such as wood wool, cork grit and the like. The like. Or can consist of synthetic resins with admixture of various fillers or also of porous mineral substances such as pumice, blast furnace slag, etc., cavities 2 lying obliquely next to one another are arranged. In Fig. 1 these cavities are cylinder-hoofed. The degree of inclination of the bottles results from the inclination of the bearing surfaces 3. The lower edge 4 of the cavity opening can be rounded, as shown in the bottom cavity.
The cavity 2 of FIG. 2 has the shape as it is produced by the penetration of two cylinder hooves. The contact surface 5 corresponds to the less inclined cylinder hoof, the contact surface 6 to the more inclined. The two storage options for the bottle 7 are shown in the cavities below.
In addition to these cavity shapes shown, other shapes are of course also possible within the scope of the invention, by means of which the advantages of the invention can be achieved.
