Device for stamping and tearing off coupons u. like
The subject of the present invention is a device for stamping and tearing off coupons or similar sheet parts to be separated from a sheet.
While up to now a special stamping device or a stamping device was required for stamping the coupons, especially in banks, and the coupons were separated by placing a right-angled rail on the separating line and tearing it off along the same, these two operations are performed according to the present invention with one and the same device made with a single actuation of the same.
The idea on which the present invention is based consists in making a stamping device of any kind displaceable on an angle rail.
In the figures, an embodiment of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows the device in plan view before actuation and Fig. 2 shows the same view when actuating the stamping device. Figure 3 is an end view, partly in section, and Figure 4 is a side view.
The two legs of the right-angled rail 1 are beveled on the inside

carry strips 3 which form such a groove.
The base plate of the stand 4 of the stamping device carries a bar f) with the cross section of the groove 2, so that this bar can slide in the groove. The stamping device can be fixed on the rail by means of the clamping screw 6 passing through the base plate of the stand 4. A frame 8 is rotatably seated on an axle 7 mounted in the stand 4. A shaft 9 is rotatably mounted in this frame and carries the stamping element 10 and arms 11 are seated at the ends. In the

The spring 14 located on the axis 7 seeks to maintain the frame S in the position shown in FIG.
The position of the individual parts is such that when the frame 8 is rotated into the position shown in FIG. 2, the shaft 9 is rotated by the arms 11 guided on the pins 13 so that the one fastened to the shaft 9 and bearing the types Plate 10 is parallel to the same in contact with the paper surface.
A shell 16 is mounted in the stand 4, into which the types immerse and are moistened in the rest position of the frame.
Since the stamping device is arranged displaceably and lockable on the rail, the coupon can be stamped at any point, whereupon it is grasped at its free end and pulled upwards and against the sharp inner edge of the rail so that it is severed along the same .
