Built-in double cylinder lock with key and olive operation
The invention relates to a built-in double cylinder lock with key and olive actuation, which has a key-actuated lock core provided with tumblers and a tumbler-free cylinder provided with an olive.
There are already locks with built-in double cylinders. which have a one-sided olive or a knob cylinder are known, and between those which have a separate locking nose for each cylinder and act on the latch or bolt inserted from the faceplate.
In addition, built-in double cylinder locks are known which have a key-operated lock cylinder provided with tumblers and a tumbler-free cylinder provided with a handle, knob or the like, and are characterized in that an additional built-in cylinder is arranged in the knob which only serves to lock the knob to bring a locking member connected to the knob cylinder into and out of engagement with the key cylinder shaft and thus be able to actuate the knob either from the key cylinder shaft or independently of this.
The invention now deals with the
EMI1.1
and olive actuation has only one locking nose. and does not require a key to operate the olive and has a coupling device that is necessary when z. B. Small children are left behind in the rooms that are closed from the outside and should be prevented from opening the door from the inside using an olive.
This object has now been achieved in that the built-in double cylinder lock with key and olive actuation, which has a key-actuated lock cylinder provided with tumblers and a tumbler-free cylinder provided with an olive, which has an axially displaceable push-button-actuated locking element in a coaxial bore, the locking nose optionally using one the two axially mounted cylinders can be actuated via a clutch; being the coupling of two
EMI1.2
mounted coupling bridges 8 which can be actuated by a coupling pin 4 and which engage in recesses of the locking nose 10.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the built-in double cylinder according to the invention with key and olive actuation is shown; Fig. 1 shows the same in the front and side view. Fig. 2 shows the olive in the front view and the side view in section. Fig. 3 shows schematically the coupling process of the coupling bridge.
The built-in double cylinder shown with

cher way a locking nose 10, which is operated with the olive as follows:
By pressing the coupling button 2 into the olive 1, the coupling bridge 8 is pushed forward by the coupling pin 4, which is located on the coupling button extension 3, so that a coupling with the locking lug 10 takes place.
Thereafter, the movement of the locking lug 10 with the olive 1 is given until a feedback through the key of the locking
EMI1.4
To achieve night locking by bringing the olive into a horizontal position after the aforementioned coupling process, the ball 6 engaging in the detent 6a by the pressure of the spring 7, so that coupling through the lock core is no longer possible due to the twisted locking nose, since the key cannot be fully inserted into the core.
. The particular advantage over the already known locks of this type is now that
EMI1.5
danger can be opened from the inside by the auxiliary staff. A favorable application of the double cylinder lock according to the invention also results in machine lock construction, since the lock mechanism can be operated from the inside without a key, only with the olive. In addition, a secure night closure must be achieved.
