Zur Vermeidung dieser Nachteile war die Aufgabe zu lösen, eine Eckverbindung zwischen vertikalen und horizontalen Plattenteilen und eine Einmündungsverbindung, wie sie bei der Aneinanderreihung von Schränken, Kästchen und Regalen gebraucht wird, zu finden, die folgende Bedingungen erfüllt :
Herstellung von horizontalen und vertikalen Plattenelementen, die leicht gelagert werden können und mittels dieser neuen Verbindung auf Abruf beliebig kombiniert zusammengebaut werden können, wobei auch die Zerlegbarkeit der Möbel gegeben ist ; bei Aneinanderreihung von Kästchen findet nur eine vertikale Zwischenplatte Verwendung, und es werden ausserdem, der einfacheren Serienfertigung wegen, nur gleich grosse und gleich geformte horizontale Plattenteile, sowohl beim Zusammenbau der EiuzelmObelstücke, das ist mit Eckverbindungen, als auch beim Zusammenbau von aneinandergereihten Möbelstücken, das ist mit Einmündungsverbindungen, verwendet ; um etwaige Unebenheiten des Plattenmaterials beim Zusammenstoss der Platten nicht sichtbar werden zu lassen, soll an diesen Stössen eine Trennfuge entstehen.
Diese Aufgaben wurden erfindungsgemäss durch Anordnung eines Metall-oder Kunststoffprofils gelöst, das zwischen den veitikalen und horizontalen Plattenteilen eingelegt wird, wobei dieses Profil mit den Plattenteilen beliebig verbunden werden kann und die Materialstärke des Profils eine sichtbare Trennfuge an der Aussenseite der Platten bewirkt. Diese durch das Metallprofil verursachte Trennfuge halbiert die Materialstärke des vertikalen Plattenteile", so dass die an die Profile anschliessenden Endflächen der horizontalen Plattenteile, sowohl bei der Eck-, als auch bei der Einmündungsverbindung gleich geformt werden können. Es können zu diesem Zweck vorteilhaft im Querschnitt geknickte oder gekantete Metall-oder Kunststoffprofile verwendet werden.
In der Zeichnung sind einige beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt : die Fig. 1 zeigt eine Eckverbindung, gebildet von einem vertikalen (2) und einem horizontalen (5) Plattenteil, verbunden mit einem im Querschnitt geknickten Metall-oder Kunststoffprofil l, das mit beiden Plattenteilen verschraubt (7) ist. Das obere Ende des Profils halbiert die Materialstärke des vertikalen Plattenteiles (Mittellinie 4) und bildet die Trennfuge 6 an der Aussenseite der Platten. Fig. 2 zeigt eine Einmündungsverbindung, gebildet von einem vertikalen Plattenteil 3, der bei einer Aneinanderreihung von Kästchen die Zwischenplatte darstellt, und zwei horizontalen Plattenteilen 5, die die gleiche Endform wie der horizontale Plattenteil in Fig. 1 haben.
Das Profil 9 hat eine der Einmündungsverbindung entsprechende andere Form ; die sonstigen Merkmale der verschiedenen Teile gleichen denen aus Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Profilvariante 10 zu Fig. 2. Fig. 4 und 5 entsprechen der Beschreibung von Fig. 1 und 2 mit dem Unterschied, dass ein im Querschnitt gekantetes Profilen und 12) verwendet wird und als Befestigungsart Metallstifte 8 dienen. Fig. 6 zeigt eine Profilvariante (13) zu Fig. 5.
