Device for converting a rotary motion into a reciprocating motion and vice versa
The invention relates to a device for converting a rotary movement into a reciprocating movement and vice versa. Such motion converters are required in many branches of technology. The subject of the invention is mainly as a vibrating or. Vibrating device thought. The aim of the invention is to create a simple and clearly structured device, the operation of which is easy to monitor and which makes it possible to change the vibration or shaking frequency by selecting the appropriate speed.
Motion converters are known in which a wave-shaped groove or bar is arranged on a drum, into which slide blocks engage, which are arranged on rods parallel to the drum axis.
The essential feature of the invention compared to the known is that at least four, expediently eight or more sliding blocks are arranged in pairs, diametrically opposite one another, the wave-shaped groove or bar having a number of waves corresponding to the number of sliding blocks or sliding block pairs and the ends the rods by means of cross connections in longitudinal slots of a train or. Engage the thrust piece. The reciprocating movement imparted to the sliding blocks by the undulating groove is transmitted in a simple manner to the pulling or pushing piece in the device according to the invention, and therefore the rotating movement of a drum is converted into a reciprocating movement.
Two opposite sliding blocks or the rods provided as carriers of the sliding blocks move in the same direction, but in the opposite direction to the sliding blocks or rods offset by a right angle in the case of four sliding blocks. In this way, a movement of high uniformity, in particular a smooth reversal of movement, is achieved.
Further details of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which shows an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention in FIG. in side view partially in longitudinal section and in Fig. 2 in a section along the line li-li of FIG. 1.
The device has a drum 1 which is set in rotation by a drive shaft 2, the drive shaft being mounted in a frame 3 which, if necessary, can be configured into a housing surrounding the drum. In the shell of the drum 1, a wave-shaped groove 4 is arranged. The groove is preferably sinusoidal. Sliding blocks 5, which have rings 6 on ball bearings, engage in the groove 4. In the middle part of the sliding blocks pins 7 are used, which are inserted in rods 8 parallel to the drum axis. The rods 8 can be moved in sliding guides 9 which are connected to the frame 3. To improve the straight guidance, further sliding blocks 10 are attached to the pin 7 and slide in guides 11.
The sliding blocks 10 also have ball-bearing rings 10 'to reduce friction. The guides 11 are part of the frame 3 or the housing.
At the ends of the rods 8, cross connections 12 are attached, which are inserted into longitudinal slots 13 of a pulling or pulling device. Engage thrust piece 14. For further guidance of the inner ends of the cross connections 12, these are fastened to tubes 15 and 16 which can be displaced one inside the other, the cross connections 12 fastened to the inner tube 16 reaching through the slots in the outer tube 15. The tubes 15 and 16 are guided on the correspondingly offset drive shaft 2 and in a bearing plate 17. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing, four sliding blocks 5 and, accordingly, four rods 8 are also provided. The groove 4 accordingly also has four waves. The stones 5 and
