   In dieser Lage zeigt dann der mittlere Drahtring die scheinbare Sonnenbahn bei den   Tag. und Nachtgleichen.   Der obere Drahtring zeigt für diesen Ort die scheinbare Sonnenbahn am 21. Juni und der dritte Drahtring dieselbe am 21. Dezember. Man kann an den Drahtringen die Zeit des Sonnenaufgangs und des Sonnenuntergangs sowie die Tages-und Nachtläbge leicht ablesen bezw. erklären. Man kann den Schülern die scheinbare Sonnenbahn auch für solche Plätze erklären, wo die Mitternachtssonne über dem Horizont fällt. 



   Mit Hilfe der in der Mitte aufzustellenden Figur lässt sich die Lage des Beobachters,   Riclitl1ngen   sowie der von der Figur für verschiedene Sonnenlagen geworfene Schatten leicht erklären.
