Hydraulic lifting device for chairs
The invention relates to a hydraulic lifting device for chairs with a pivotable from the
Operator-operated lever with the help of which pumps in a piston of a pump and thus the chair can be pumped up by moving the lever up and down within an upper angular range, can be lowered in a subsequent lower angular range and can be locked in the upper end position of the lever, with the actuating lever being a lever below this An angle arranged with the pump piston cooperating cams is rigidly connected by a bolt.
An electrically controlled hydraulic power-driven chair which is operated by electric push buttons has been proposed. In contrast, the present invention is limited to a simple hydraulic design. There is no power drive by means of a motor in order to keep the manufacturing costs as low as possible.
There are also hydraulic lifting devices for chairs have become known that have a single pivotable operating lever, by moving it up and down within an upper angular range, the chair can be pumped up, lowered in a subsequent lower angular range and locked in the upper end position of the lever.
In such lifting devices it is also known that a cam which is arranged at an angle to this lever and which interacts with the pump piston is rigidly connected to the actuating lever and that the actuating lever and the cam are rigidly connected to one another by a bolt.
According to the invention, the angle between the actuating lever and the cam is adjustable so that the actuating lever can optionally be actuated from one side or the other with a foot or hand.
According to a further feature of the invention, the device is designed in such a way that the lever interacts with the actuating pin of a discharge valve via a nose provided on the pump piston.
Several exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a partial plan view of a lifting device for a chair. FIG. 2 shows a view according to arrow A of FIG. 1 with the actuating lever in the rest position, the oil reservoir being broken open. Fig. 3 is a view in the direction of arrow B of Fig. 1, with the storage container for the pressure medium broken away. FIG. 4 shows a view according to FIG. 2 with the actuating lever in the lower stroke position. 5-7 illustrate partially broken away views corresponding to FIG. 2 of variants of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-4, in which a certain angle is provided between the actuating lever and the cam actuating the pump piston.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-4, a pump cylinder is designated by 1, which is fastened on a base plate 18. A pump piston 2 is movably arranged in the pump cylinder 1 and carries a pump piston plate 22 at its upper end in the drawing. A compression spring 15, which tries to push the pump piston into its upper position, is arranged between the aforementioned pump piston plate 22 and the base plate 18. In the pump cylinder 1, a transverse bore 16 is arranged which connects the interior of the pump cylinder with the interior of an oil storage container 17 which is filled with oil to a predetermined height.
On the upper part of the pump piston 2, a control rod 10 is attached, which is parallel to the axis of the piston

denotes the parts with the same numbers
The difference compared to the first embodiment is in these three variants that the actuating lever, shown in this case as a hand lever, and the associated cam are arranged at a certain angle to one another, e.g. at an angle of -100 in FIG. 6 at an angle of +80 and in Fig. 7 at an angle of 170. This makes it possible to give an operating lever various rest positions and thus adapt it to certain conditions.
