Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1-1b) zum Schutz einer Pflanze vor Verbiss und Fe- gen und zur Verwendung als Wuchshilfe, die einen an zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten (4- 4b; 5-5b) offenen Schutzkäfig (3-3b; 26) umfasst, der zum Umgeben einer zu schützenden Pflanze in einer Umfangsrichtung (2-2b) der Pflanze eingerichtet ist. Zweckmäßigerweise umfasst der Schutzkäfig (3-3b; 26) mehrere Schutzkäfigseitenteile (6-6b; 7-7b; 8-8b; 27; 28), die zur Bildung des Schutzkäfigs (3-3b; 26) miteinander verbindbar sind. Durch den Schutzkäfig wird sichergestellt, dass eine zu schützende Pflanze genügend Licht erhält und eine hinreichende Belüftung sichergestellt ist. Dies wird insbesondere dadurch er- reicht, dass der Schutzkäfig nicht unmittelbar an die Pflanze angelegt wird, beispielsweise durch Umwickeln, sondern in Abstand von der Pflanze angeordnet ist, und diese in Umfangs- richtung vorzugsweise vollständig umgibt.
