Um einen Balkon oder Anbau, insbesondere für bestehende Bauten, zu schaffen, der durch geringen Aufwand und somit geringe Kosten herstellbar ist, und dadurch die Nutzfläche und die Qualität der Wohnung erhöht wird, ist vorgesehen, daß durch eine Öffnung 2 in einer Außenwand 1, z.B. einer Fenster- oder Türöffnung, für den Durchgang aus dem Innenraum 5 auf den Balkon 3 od. dgl. mindestens ein im wesentlichen horizontaler Balken 4, 4 od. dgl. eingesetzt ist, wobei mindestens ein Balken 4, 4 od. dgl. sowohl in den Innenraum 5 als auch nach außen ragt, wobei mindestens ein Balken 4, 4 od. dgl. im Innenraum 5, vorzugsweise an seinem innenseitigen Ende eingespannt oder abgestützt ist, und wobei der oder jeder Balken 4, 4 od. dgl. sowohl innen- als auch außenseitig einen Boden 9, 10 trägt. Das Parapet kann aber auch teilweise oder vollständig abgetragen werden, sodaß ein höherer Durchgang zu dem Balkon 3 entsteht. Bei Altbauten mit sehr hohen Fenstern ist dies aber oft nicht erforderlich. Je nach gewünschter Größe des Balkons 3 od. dgl. ragt der oder die Balken 4,4’ mehr oder weniger weit nach außen. Die Länge und der Querschnitt des oder der Balken 4, 4’ in den Innenraum 5 hängt von der Größe des Balkons 3 od. dgl. sowie den statischen Belastungen desselben ab. Der oder jeder Balken 4, 4’ wird vorzugsweise am innenseitigen Ende eingespannt, um ein Verschwenken zu verhindern. Im dargestellten Beispiel sind die Balken 4, 4’ an ihrem innenseitigen Ende an einem Rahmen 6 befestigt, welcher zwischen dem Fußboden 7 und der Decke 8 des Innenraums 5 eingespannt ist. Der Rahmen überträgt den Druck auf die Decke 8 wobei durch die Querverbindung zwischen den vertikalen Balken des Rahmens 6 eine Verteilung der Kräfte stattfindet. Natürlich kann die Einspannung der Balken 4, 4’ auch durch nur einen im wesentlichen vertikalen Balken oder Träger erfolgen. Es ist auch eine Einspannung der Balken 4, 4’ nur zwischen Fußboden 7 oder Decke 8 denkbar, wobei in diesem Fall der Balken oder Träger in aufwendigerer Weise im Fußboden 7 oder der Decke 8 verankert werden muß. Auch bei der Verwendung eines Seils ist eine Verankerung im Fußboden 7 und der Decke 8 erforderlich. Es ist auch denkbar, daß die Verspannung des oder der Balken 4, 4’ in einer Aussparung in einer, der Öffnung 2 gegenüberliegenden Wand erfolgt. Die Einspannung muß auch nicht am innenseitigen Ende des oder der Träger 4, 4’ erfolgen, obgleich dies in Bezug auf die Statik den günstigsten Fall darstellt. Auf die Balken 4, 4’ sind im vorliegenden Fall zwei übereinanderliegende Paneele 9 od. dgl. befestigt, wodurch der Boden 10 des Balkons 3 od. dgl. sowie des im Innenraum 5 entstehenden Podests 5 AT 001 840 Ul 11 gebildet wird. Vom Boden 10 des Podests 11 kann eine Treppe 12 od. dgl. zum Fußboden 7 des Innenraums 5 führen. Zwischen dem Boden 10 des Podests 11 und dem Fußboden 7 wird ein Stauraum 13 gebildet, der z.B. als Abstellraum für Koffer, Sportgeräte od. dgl. dienen kann. Ebenso kann eine isolierte Verglasung nach außen in Art eines Wintergartens im Außenbereich erfolgen, und somit der Wohninnenraum vergrößert werden. Eine solche Variante ist in Fig. 3 dargestellt, wo durch eine außenseitige Glaskonstruktion 15 ein Wintergarten gebildet wird. Das Podest 11 und die Treppe 12 können mit einem Geländer 16 ausgestattet werden.
