Portable device for making hot air under pressure usable for the control of plant diseases.
Air of high temperature forms a powerful means for destroying the parasites of the vine and other plants and has the advantage of not bringing any harmful or poisonous substances into contact with the plants to be treated.
In order to enable the practical implementation of such a way of working with hot air on the spot, a portable apparatus is used in the context of the present invention in which the air compressed by a pump is heated under pressure to high temperatures by requiring it to to wrap around one or more platinum tubes obtained in the glow by a stream of carburized air directed inside the same.

A smaller recipient b, which is arranged outside or inside the container a, communicates with the former through an opening <, 'which, with a pressure of about 2 atm. reducing valve is provided and the supply of the carburator mediates d. This latter represents a simple one

Air from the recipients b enters the upper part of the carburator through a tube e, is loaded with the hydrocarbon vapors and escapes through the flexible tube f. The pressurized air in the container a exits from here through the likewise flexible tube g.

Fedorventilo of known type has been replaced. Likewise, the heating of the air can be made more effective by installing partition walls in the cylinder, which extend the duration of the air circulation around the glow tube; the same effect can also be achieved through arrangement. achieve multiple glow tubes in one and the same cylinder.
The pump h can be operated in a known manner by a lever; however, it can also be replaced, if desired, by a fan or compressor of any known type.
