Die Radmäntel, welche seitlich mit überdeckten Armöffnungen versehen sind, gewähren dem Träger zwar auch im geschlossenen Zustande vollkommene Bewegungsfreiheit für seine Arme und bieten diesen vielfach Schutz gegen Regen, doch ist letzteres nicht der Fall bei gewissen Hantierungen, wie z. B. beim Laden eines Gewehres, Halten desselben am Anstand u. dgl., so dass die Rockärmel hiebei trotz des Mantels durchnässt werden und in dieselben das Wasser einlaufen kann.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft nun eine Ausführungsform eines solchen Radmantels, durch welche die genannten Übelstände beseitigt werden. In Fig. 1 der untenstehenden Zeichnungen ist der neue Radmantel in einer Innenansicht und in Fig. 2 in einer Aussenansicht dargestellt. Die Fig. 3 zeigt einen Schnitt nach der Linie A-A der Fig. 2.
