Roller bearings are widely used in both agricultural and other machinery; however, they often do not have the easy gait that one might expect because the waves are caught in them. It often happens, especially with agricultural machinery, that the shafts bend or it is otherwise not possible in the long term to achieve an exact match in the position of the shaft and the bearing because the nature of the work does not allow the Roller bearings either make the machine disproportionately expensive or do not meet its purpose and, even if the speed does not stop at the beginning, the machine loses its easy and precise speed within a short time. In such machines, as is known, the arrangement of immovable frames, supports and. like impossible.
These deficiencies are remedied by a roller bearing that can move in all directions, particularly in the case of agricultural machines. An embodiment of the same is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 and 2 show the bearing in two vertical views, partly in cross-section, Fig. I) the same in plan. Figs. 4 and 5 show the base plate in vertical and horizontal projection, Figs. 6 and 7 illustrate the cover of the roller housing and Fig. 8 and 9 the Zapfenplatto including the screw in two views.
The shaft 1 is mounted in the roller housing 2 in a known manner by means of the rollers 3 inserted between it and the housing, which fill this space in such a way that they can still rotate freely, being attached to the housing by means of cu screws 5 screwed-on cover 4 are complete. However, so that this storage ensures an easy and precise operation in any case, the housing 2 is rotatably arranged about the horizontal axis perpendicular through the shaft axis by being mounted in the tips of the screws 6 and 7 through which that axis passes.
These screws have the screw nut thread in the lugs 10, 11 of the supporter 121, which is provided at the bottom with a pin mounted in the socket 16 of the base plate 13 so that it can rotate about the vertical axis which is passed through the
Center of the pin trim 14, 15, and through the intersection of the axis of the shaft 1 and the axis of the screws 6 and 7 leads.
These screws are secured in their position by the lock nuts 8 and 9, while the pin 14, 15 is secured by the washer 19, which by means of the in the
Pin from below engaging screw 20 is tightened.
Since the housing 2 therefore allows a slight rotation around two perpendicular axes leading through the axis of the shaft 1, this bearing of the shaft gives way completely freely and its course in each case remains a light one, while other ball or roller bearings this , especially important for agricultural machinery
Property completely dispensed with and become unusable as soon as the shaft is bent in any way or the mutual exact position of the constituent parts that are bound to one another has changed.
