Process for the production of a hygienically clean print on toilet paper or utility paper for advertising purposes
It is already known to provide toilet paper and utility paper with hygienic advertising imprints, the imprint being produced by searing into the paper. For this purpose, the metal cliché located on rapidly rotating drums, e.g. B. by means of a gas burner, etc. heated. However, this device makes the production of the print more expensive and requires constant maintenance in order to avoid burning or excessive scorching of the paper. The scorching, however, destroys at least part of the fiber fabric and thus the utility value of the toilet or utility paper is reduced and its hygienic use is called into question by being easily torn during use.

Furthermore, it is known to use sympathetic inks or organic-based inks, such as, for example, B. lemon juice, and to apply these patterns invisibly to printed pages in order to make them visible afterwards when the buyer uses it. Here the well-known invisible inks were used for paper spam.

Furthermore, invisible inks have been used for a wide variety of joke articles, in which joke pictures etc. are invisibly applied to paper and can be made visible by the buyer afterwards by heating.

The invention relates to a method for producing a perfectly hygienic advertising print on toilet paper and utility paper, which avoids the above-mentioned disadvantages of scorching and allows the production of a hygienic advertising print in a simple, cheap and expedient manner without destroying the substance of the paper and thus reduce the practical value of paper.

According to the invention, this is achieved in that the advertisement is printed by means of customary clichés using lemon juice, whereupon the printing material is discolored and dried by slight heating that does not change the substrate.

The present inventive production of hygienically flawless advertising imprint on toilet or utility paper is characterized by particular simplicity, since the customary clichés can be used for this purpose,
 EMI1.1
and then the printed paper is dried at moderate heat, at the same time a discoloration of the lemon juice occurs, making it visibly wild, as is known per se.
