Zimmerofen

Room stove
The invention relates to a room furnace with a built-in, upright air circulation pipe around which the heating gases moving upward in the furnace passages flow around it. The intensely heated air in such a tube increases the heat dissipation to the environment, but in the known design, the zigzag guidance of the furnace flues causes a considerable flow resistance of the heating gases and thus a reduction in the flue. According to the invention, the furnace trains are designed in the form of a screw turn, the axis of which essentially coincides with the vertical central axis of the furnace, which is at the same time the axis of the air circulation pipe.
By designing the furnace passages in this way, the air pipe is evenly heated and the heating gases are largely utilized without practically any throttling losses due to deflection of the same.
A helical guidance of heating gases is already known per se in furnaces, but according to a proposal of this type the screw axis is horizontal, while according to another proposal the helical furnace trains do not surround an air circulation pipe but a filling funnel for the fuel.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. FIGS. 1 and 2 show two embodiments in vertical section, FIG. 3 is a cross section to FIG.
The interior of the furnace 1 is subdivided into helical heating flues 3 by a wall 2 running along a helical surface, which surround a vertical pipe 4. The latter has an inlet opening 5 and opens at 7 into horizontal slots provided below the cover 6, through which the heated air that is drawn upward in the tube 4 is distributed at its outlet. The fire gases move into the fireplace at 8. The fire box 9 is arranged at a distance from the furnace body 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 3 or, according to FIG. 2, partially or completely sunk into it. Since the inlet opening 5 is in the immediate vicinity of the floor, the entire furnace height is used to utilize the heating gases, so that the heated surface of the tube 4 is as large as possible.
