   In der Zeichnung bezeichnet 1 eine indirekt heizbare Kathode einer elektrischen Entladungsröhre, die aus einem Kathodenkörper besteht, innerhalb dessen ein Heizelement angeordnet ist. Diese Kathode ist von einem Steuergitter 2 und einem Schirmgitter 3 umgeben. Die aus der Kathode tretenden Elektronen werden gemäss den durch die gestrichelten Linien   4   angegebenen Elektronenbahnen zu einer Elektrode 5 geführt, die mit einem leicht Sekundärelektronen abgebenden Stoff, z. B. Caesiumoxyd oder Caesium überzogen ist. In geringem Abstand von der Elektrode 5 befindet sich ein Gitter 6, das mit der Anode 7 verbunden ist und die aus der Sekundäremissionselektrode 5 austretenden Sekundärelektronen aus deren Umgebung wegzieht.

   In der Röhre ist ferner ein Schirm S angeordnet, der an einem solehen Potential liegt, dass er die Elektronen gemäss den erwünschten gekrümmten Bahnen sich bewegen lässt. Es ist ferner ein Schirm 9 vorhanden, der so angeordnet ist, dass gegebenenfalls von der Primärkathode abdampfendes Material die Sekundäremissionselektrode nicht erreichen kann.

   In the drawing, 1 denotes an indirectly heatable cathode of an electrical discharge tube, which consists of a cathode body within which a heating element is arranged. This cathode is surrounded by a control grid 2 and a screen grid 3. The electrons emerging from the cathode are guided according to the electron trajectories indicated by the dashed lines 4 to an electrode 5, which is filled with a substance that easily emits secondary electrons, e.g. B. cesium oxide or cesium is coated. At a short distance from the electrode 5 there is a grid 6 which is connected to the anode 7 and which draws the secondary electrons emerging from the secondary emission electrode 5 away from its surroundings.

   A screen S is also arranged in the tube, which screen is at such a potential that it allows the electrons to move along the desired curved paths. There is also a screen 9, which is arranged in such a way that any material evaporating from the primary cathode cannot reach the secondary emission electrode.

PATENT-ANSPRUCH : Elektrische Entladungsröhre deren Elektrodensystem unter anderm eine Sekundäremissionselektrode enthält, wobei eine plattenförmige Anode ausserhalb der Bahnen der von der Kathode zur Sekundäremissionselektrode sich bewegenden Elektronen angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Elektronenweg kurz vor der Sekundäremissionselektrode und ungefähr parallel mit dieser eine mit der Anode leitend verbundene gitterförmige Elektrode angeordnet ist.
