Es ist bekannt, Photofiguren dadurch Herzustellen, dass Photographien auf Holz aufgeklebt und die Ränder schräg nach rückwärts abgefeilt werden. Dies hat den Nachteil, dass die unschönen Schnittlinien von der Seite gesehen werden.
Diese Übelstände werden nach der Erfindung dadurch beseitigt, dass die aufgeklebten Figuren nach auswärts (konvex) gewölbt sind. Weiters können erfindungsgemäss die Photographien auf einer Metallfolie aufgebracht sein, welche zweckmässig kleiner als die Figurenfläche und von einer die Folie überragenden Papierunterlage überdeckt ist, wodurch die Abdeckung der Schnittlinie noch wirksamer wird. Die Metallfolie wird in oxydiertem Zustand verwendet, da das Klebemittel auf dieser besser haftet.
Soll aus diesen Photofiguren ein Gruppenbild zusammengestellt werden, so werden die einzelnen Figuren in einem Bogen aneinandergereiht, und in ungefähr gleichem Abstand vom aufnehmenden Objektiv angeordnet. Durch diese Anordnung des Gruppenbildes wird eine sehr natürliche Wirkung erzielt.
Die Herstellung einer Figur erfolgt in der Weise, dass die Photographie auf eine dünne Unterlage, z. B. eine Metallfolie, geklebt, hierauf ausgeschnitten und sodann nach auswärts (konvex) gewölbt wird. Die Wölbung hat überdies den Vorteil, einen stärkeren Schutz gegen das Verbiegen zu gewähren.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Aus einem photographischen Bild durch Ausschneiden und Unterkleben hergestellte Figur, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie nach auswärts (konvex) gewölbt ist.

It is known to produce photo figures by gluing photographs to wood and filing the edges obliquely backwards. This has the disadvantage that the unsightly cut lines can be seen from the side.
These inconveniences are eliminated according to the invention in that the glued-on figures are curved outwards (convex). Furthermore, according to the invention, the photographs can be applied to a metal foil which is expediently smaller than the area of the figure and covered by a paper support projecting over the foil, whereby the covering of the cutting line becomes even more effective. The metal foil is used in an oxidized state because the adhesive adheres better to it.
If a group picture is to be put together from these photo figures, the individual figures are lined up in an arc and arranged at approximately the same distance from the lens. This arrangement of the group picture creates a very natural effect.
A figure is produced in such a way that the photograph is placed on a thin surface, e.g. B. a metal foil, glued, cut out on it and then curved outwards (convex). The curvature also has the advantage of providing greater protection against bending.
