mit dem Minuspol einer Gleichstromquelle verbunden ist. Auf einer drehbaren Kontaktbrücke 18 befinden sich zwei gegeneinander versetzte Kontakte 19 und 20 bzw. 21 und 22 im Radialabstand jedes der beiden Kontakthalbringe. Je zwei einander benachbarte, verschiedenen Kontaktringen 12, 1 : ;

is connected to the negative pole of a direct current source. On a rotatable contact bridge 18 there are two mutually offset contacts 19 and 20 or 21 and 22 at a radial distance from each of the two contact half-rings. Every two adjacent, different contact rings 12, 1:;
EMI2.2
each end of the solenoid 2: 3 connected. With each revolution of the contact disk 11, the direction of the current flowing through the coil then changes twice. When the contact disk H rotates at half the speed of rotation of the compressor, this corresponds to a single pole change of the magnet 23 during one rotation of the compressor.
By rotating the contact bridge 18, which can be done by hand or by any automatic pulse generator, this change in current direction, which corresponds to a pole change of the magnet each time, is moved to the desired point of the piston pressure stroke.
The contact disk 11 can also be driven with the same number of revolutions of the compressor. Then, with each full revolution of the compressor, the magnet 2 is reversed two times. 1 One of these polarity reversals is shifted by 180 compared to the other. If one falls into the pressure stroke, the other necessarily falls into the suction position. Since during this phase the valve is kept open anyway by the forces of the flowing medium, this second polarity reversal does not affect the valve clearance in any way. However, this design has the advantage that the magnets for controlling the suction valves on the front and rear of the piston can be connected to one another.
Since the suction and pressure periods on the two piston sides are offset from one another by 180 °, any reversal of polarity which is ineffective for one suction valve enables the suction valve on the other cylinder side to close.
When executing the circuit according to FIG. 1, only one magnetic coil 23 is required. But there are four interruption points. The same success with regard to the control effect can be achieved in the exemplary embodiment outlined in FIG. 2, in which two coils 24 and 25 are provided for each valve. The junction 26 of these two coils is connected to one pole of the power source, for example via ground, while the other two ends 27 and 28 are alternately connected to the second pole of the power source through the contact disk 11 in connection with the adjustable contact bridge 7S.
With this arrangement, two or a larger number of pairs of coils 24, 25 result, but only two interruption points are required for this.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1.Method for the electromagnetic power control of reciprocating compressors with the lifting of the S: 1Ugventile during a part of the compression stroke corresponding to the desired L3istungsverrederung by means of a switching element driven as a function of the rotary movement of the compressor shaft, which by looping over fixed and adjustable contacts the current for the one suction valve controls associated coils, characterized in that during the pressure stroke at the moment of the intended closure of the suction valve, only a polarity reversal of the suction valve magnet takes place,
which enables the valve to close under the influence of its normal closing forces, while on the other hand the load of the excited magnet resting on the closed suction valve - the pressure of the rapidly increasing cylinder pressure acting on the opposite side of the valve - is not able to overcome the pressure stroke part that follows.
