   Die vorliegende Erfindung will eine Alarmvorrichtung schaffen, die das Kochen des Kühlwassers im Kühler von Kraftfahrzeugen zur Anzeige bringt. Es ergibt sich oft, dass durch'Überanstrengungen des Motors oder im Winter durch Fahren mit abgedecktem Kühler ein Kochen des Kühlers eintritt und bei dem modernen Bau des Motorfahrzeuges vom Führer nicht bemerkt wird, da der Dampf des kochenden Kühlwassers durch das Überlaufrohr nach unten entweicht. 



   Bekannt ist, eine Dampfpfeife auf der   Kühlerverschraubung   vorzusehen, doch hat dies den Nachteil, dass das mit dem Dampf austretende Wasser aussen über die Motorhaube rinnt. Dies kann wohl durch besondere Vorkehrungen bekämpft werden, die aber die Einrichtung komplizieren und das sichere Funktionieren in Frage stellen. 



   Erfindungsgemäss wird die Signalpfeife am Ende   des Uberlaufrohres   angebracht, so dass der durch dasselbe entweichende Dampf die Pfeife zum Tönen bringt.

   The present invention seeks to provide an alarm device which displays the boiling of the cooling water in the radiator of motor vehicles. It often results that when the engine is overstrained or when driving with a covered radiator in winter, the radiator boils and is not noticed by the driver in the modern construction of the motor vehicle, since the steam from the boiling cooling water escapes down through the overflow pipe.



   It is known to provide a steam whistle on the radiator screw connection, but this has the disadvantage that the water escaping with the steam runs outside over the engine hood. This can be combated by taking special precautions, but these complicate the installation and jeopardize its safe functioning.



   According to the invention, the signal whistle is attached to the end of the overflow pipe so that the steam escaping through it makes the whistle sound.
