Verdunster.

Evaporator.
The subject of the invention is an evaporator for hanging between the elements of a central heating body, which, compared to the known devices, ensures extremely lively and rapid evaporation of the water. Another advantage is achieved with the invention through the ease of dismantling, whereby absorbent bodies that have become unusable can be quickly replaced.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the absorbent body is easily detachably attached to a rigid frame surrounding it on all sides, the container is attached to the frame piece that is surrounded by water on all sides and a suspension element for the evaporator is articulated on the upper frame part.
Several exemplary embodiments of the evaporator according to the invention are shown in the drawing.

which, as FIG. 6 shows, protrudes a little laterally from the central heating element 16 and thus allows water to be refilled without removing the container 1 at any time. The frame-like carrier 4, bent approximately from wire, has on the one hand feet 6 on the other hand eyelets 7. The upper transverse part of the carrier is rotatably held in these eyelets. Within the thus self-contained carrier 4 is the z. B. plate-shaped, made of wick, blotting paper or the like.
In order to prevent the carrier 4 equipped with the absorbent body from tilting to the side, small pins 9 are provided, which can be welded or soldered to the longitudinal parts of the carrier 4, for example. At the upper edge of the container 1 are holes 10 into which the pins 9 can be inserted. In order to keep the cross section of the sprue free, a bracket 11 can be arranged on this side of the container, which bracket carries one of the bores 10. With this spacing, a more or less rigid connection between the carrier 4 and the container 1 is created at the same time, whereby the suspension of the evaporator is possible.
A hook 12 is rigidly connected to the transverse part 8, with the aid of which the evaporator can be hung between two elements of a central heating element 16 (FIGS. 5 and 6).
3 and 4 show further embodiments of the carrier 4 and the suspension element.
The carrier 4 shown in Fig. 3 is composed of flat metal pieces. Its upper transverse part is also rigidly connected to the longitudinal parts and has a hole in which a support hook 14 is suspended.
4 shows a carrier 4 bent from a single piece of wire, the upper transverse part of which has an eyelet 15 for receiving the support hook 14.
The local arrangement of the evaporator according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. In particular, it can be seen clearly from FIG. 6 that the evaporator is arranged entirely between the elements of a central heating body 16. This has the great advantage over known devices that the container 1 with the absorbent body. ? is in the area of the greatest heat radiation, which enables lively water evaporation.
