Schliesshebel in Anwendung kommen.
Fig. 11) in dem Blütenkelch 14 schwenkbar lagern.

Container for cosmetic products cd. like
The invention relates to a container for cosmetic agents such as perfume, powder, soap or the like, which can, however, also be used for storing chalk, rosin, colored pencils. The devices previously used for this purpose have the disadvantage that they consist of a lower container part with a lid and require both hands when opening or closing. In addition, it was very easy to get dirty from the falling dust or the like.
In contrast, the invention shows a container that can be operated with only one hand and at the same time provides means that catch any falling dust and prevent contamination of other parts.
EMI1.1
are hinged, which are under spring action and are coupled to an actuating device that can only be operated by one hand in such a way that they are brought into the open position when acting on the actuating device, in which they form a catching device for falling parts, but when the actuating device is released see put back into a container.
Preferably, the walls consist of a flexible covering material, the
Operating device is designed as a folding device which works together with the wrapping material and which wraps the wrapping material around the object when the container is closed.
The design can also be such that spring-action locking levers are mounted on the carrier for the object on the underside, which place the wrapping material around the object and move them together by one hand when grasping the carrier, counter to the spring action in the open position to be brought. This allows a common control element for all
Closing lever come into use.
With particular advantage, the drive for the locking levers consists of a resilient pressure plate mounted in a handle, which is connected at its ends to the locking levers via pulling devices. The pulling devices can be united in a string through the center of the beam.
In order to make the device applicable for use, for example, in women's handbags or on hairdressing tables, etc., the container with the walls can preferably have the shape of a flower. At the same time, a mirror can be attached to the inside of the container walls, which increases the possibility of using the device.
The idea of the invention, which also allows other specific implementation options, is indicated in the attached drawing, u. Between: Fig. 1 shows a section through the closed storage device, Fig. 2 shows a section through the opened storage device, Fig. 3 shows a view from below of Fig. 1, Fig. 4 shows a storage device designed as a flower, Fig. 5 shows a section through Fig. 4, Fig. 6 a section through the opened storage device, Fig. 7 a section through another embodiment of the storage device. 8 shows a section through the opened storage device according to FIG. 7, FIG.
9 shows a section through another embodiment of the storage device, FIG. 10 shows an individual part of FIGS. 7-9, FIG. 11 shows a partial plan view of the drive mechanism on which the storage device according to FIGS. 4-6 is based.
The object 1, for example a piece of rosin, chalk or the like, is wrapped in a cloth in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-3, and the like. between the object 1 is glued to its "bottom on the cloth 2. Cloth and object sit firmly on a support plate 5 of the holding
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
device which carries bearings 4 for the lever 5 on its underside. The levers 5 grip around the object 1 and are connected at their ends to the cloth 2 in a suitable manner. The levers 5 sit on bearing pins 6 and are bent back below the plate 3 to form an eyelet 7, as can be seen in particular in FIGS. 1 and 2.
A rigid ring 8 is mounted through this eyelet, the diameter of which is slightly wider than the distance between the opposing bearings 4 and which is further provided with the handles 9. 10 are springs that are placed around the bearing pin 6 and strive to move the lever 5 into its closed position.
This device works as follows:
If the holding device is in the position according to FIG. 1, the object 1 is completely enveloped by the cloth. If the object, for example the rosin, is needed, the ring 8 is to be grasped at the two handles 9 with the index finger and middle finger of one hand. By pressing with the thumb on the holding plate 3, it is lifted from the ring 8, the lever 5 being moved into the open position, which is shown in FIG. 2, counter to the action of the spring 10 as a result of the lever action. The cloth 2 is thus spread out and catches the rosin dust that is produced when painting.
In the embodiment of the device according to FIGS. 4-6 and 11, the container is intended as a powder container and designed as a flower, for example as a rose. The petals 11 sit here on locking levers 12 which are pivotably supported on axes 1, 3 (cf. FIG. 11) in the calyx 14.
The cup has a downwardly open guide 15 through which individual chains, cords or the like 16 combined to form a pulling device run.
Below each bearing point of a locking lever 12, the cup has an opening 17 through which the pull cord 16 is passed to the outside. The cord 16 then engages from the outside. A spring 19 seated on the axle 13 strives to always move the closing lever 12 into its closed position. By pulling on the pulling device 16, the locking levers are moved outward in the direction of the arrow drawn in FIG. 5, the petals 11 being spread open.
When the petals are spread open, the powder container 20 with the powder puff 21 carried on the cup 14 by means of the holder 19 is exposed, so that the device is now ready for use
EMI2.1
again in its closed position according to FIG. 4.
In the embodiment of the device according to FIG. 7, which is also used again for the storage of powder, make-up, perfume or the like, a support plate 22 is provided which also serves as a container for the powder 23; 24 is the powder puff. On the underside of the support plate 22 is a handle 25 which has resilient pressure plates 26 on both sides. Closing levers, which are also covered with petals 11 ', are seated here on axles 13' mounted on the support plate 22. Tension springs 27 are attached approximately in the middle of the support plate 22, which run through the axis 13 ′ in the manner shown in FIG. 10 and engage the closing levers 12 ′ in such a way that they are pulled into the closed position by spring action.
On the other hand, a pull chain 28 is wound on the axis 1.3 ', which is connected to the ends of the pressure plate 26 (FIGS. 7 and 8). If the pressure plates 26 are pressed together from the position shown in FIG. 7 into the position shown in FIG. 8, the chains 28 sway away from the axis 13 ′. These are rotated so that the locking levers 12 'with the petals 11' pivot outwards and expose the powder compact.
Stamens 29 can also be provided on the support plate 22. As shown in FIG. 9, a perfume container 30 made of rubber or the like can be accommodated in the handle 25, which is also pressed together when the pressure plate 26 is pressed together and ejects perfume from the jet opening 31, the flower opening at the same time.
In place of the embodiment shown, any desired closing and opening devices can be provided. The container can also be used to store a wide variety of materials without changing the idea of the invention.
