Chair with reclining seat.
The invention relates to a chair with an inclinable seat, in which the seat is mounted on curved rolling paths and is held elastically in its normal horizontal position by spring force. Such seats, which can be tilted forward for work on the one hand, and backwards to achieve a resting position on the one hand, have a tendency to tip over when exposed to heavy people, while the constant spring force offers excessive resistance to the burden of light people. This is due to the fact that an unstable equilibrium is given by the height of the center of gravity above the rolling path.
In order to make the balance as independent as possible of the influence of the weight of the seated person and to make a seat equally suitable for use by different people, the arrangement according to the invention is such that the curved and rolling paths are above the lower edge of the seat frame and that the web slopes both backwards and forwards. As a result, compared to the known designs, particularly good stability of the seat is achieved in the most varied of positions and when used by people of the most varied of sizes and weight ratios.
In addition, the adjustment of the seat as a result of the unwinding causes only very little wear.
Further details of the invention will be explained with reference to the drawings, in which:
1 shows a longitudinal section through a chair with a resilient frame along the line II in FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows a view of the seat from below as a cross-section along the line 11-11 in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a partial cross-section on a larger scale FIG. 4 shows a modified embodiment with a fixed frame in a longitudinal section, FIG. 5 shows a partial cross-section along the line VV and FIG. 6 shows a similar cross-section on a larger scale.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 1-3, the seat consists of the resilient tubular metal frame 1, the upper legs 2 of which form the upwardly convex rolling paths on which the seat plate 3 with the tensioning bridge 4, which is located within the frame 5, is when the incline changes shifts. In the example shown, the seat back 6 is rigidly connected to the seat, so that it takes part in its inclination changes. As can be seen in more detail from FIGS. 2 and 3, the tensioning bridge 4 is screwed to both sides of the frame 5 and provided with a covering 7 made of hardwood, felt or rubber, which comes to rest on the tube 2.
A pin 8 with the head 9 is also attached to the tensioning bridge 4, which pin penetrates a tab 10 attached to the metal tube 2 in an elongated hole 11, and which is pressed downward by the spring 12 so that it creates a non-positive connection between the seat plate and the base causes and transmits the restoring force supplied by the spring 12 to the seat plate. Rubber blocks 1. 3 and 14 are used to softly limit the adjustability of the inclination of the seat.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 4-6, the underframe consists of closed wooden or metal frames 15, the upper legs 16 of which serve as a rolling surface. The seat surface 17 is lower than the lateral rolling tracks 16. For this purpose, the seat 17 with the frame 18 is hung in the side brackets 19 which surround the rolling track 16 and in their upper part the corresponding upper rolling part 20, e.g. B. in the form of a rubber filler bar. In this example, the resetting and centering effect is exerted by a piece of rubber 21 which is fastened on both sides between the two side walls of the bracket 19, e.g.
B. is glued or vulcanized, and that is claimed in the inclination of the seat on bending and train. The side brackets 19 can at the same time, if they are raised high enough, serve as armrests of the seat or used in such armrests

his. The armrests can accordingly incline together with the seat or also be connected to the underframe and therefore be arranged in a fixed manner. The single shown in the drawings. units can be interchanged in any way; In particular, the details of the rolling path according to FIGS. 4-6 can also be used on the underframe according to FIGS. 1-3 or vice versa. The inventive training can be used in all types of seating, such.
B. with swivel chairs, vehicle chairs, garden chairs, medical chairs, etc.
