   Die Erfindung hat die Verwendung von Darm-oder Seidensaiten als Stehkettenfäden bei der Herstellung von Kettflorgeweben auf einem Webstuhl bekannter Art zum Gegenstande. Dieser ist in Fig. 1 der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellt. Fig. 2 stellt schematisch ein bekanntes Kettflorgewebe dar.

 Die Florkettfäden 5 gehen vom Florgarnbaum   4   durch die   Schäfte   5'zum Riet. Ausserdem gehen Längsrutenfäden 6 von einem am   Webstuhlrahmen   festen Halter 7 durch den Schaft 6'und das Riet, um in einiger Entfernung von der Lade frei zu endigen. Die Grundsehussfäden bilden mit den Grundkettenfäden 2 das Grundgewebe und binden die Florkettfäden 5 in das Grundgewebe ein. Die Längsrutenfäden 6 liegen beim Weben über dem Grundgewebe.

   Die Fadenrutenschüsse 8 werden so eingetragen, dass sie über den Längsrutenfäden 6 und über dem Grundgewebe liegen und die jeweils ins Oberfach gelangten   Florfäden o über   sie hinweggehen. Beim Weben wird die Kettflorware von der Lade gegen den Warenbaum 9 geschoben. Dabei gleiten die   Fadenrutenschüsse   8 von den freien Enden der Längsrutenfäden 6 ab.

  Diese Saiten haben die nötige Festigkeit und Steifigkeit. sind aber doch ausreichend, aber nicht zu sehr elastisch und weisen eine geringe Reibung an den Florfäden auf, so dass die Ware von diesen Längsrutenfäden sicher, und ohne Schaden zu nehmen, abgezogen werden kann. Saiten aus Bindfaden oder Garn halten nicht für eine genügend lange Zeit. und Stahlsaiten ermüden bald und erlauben keine Rückstellung des Webstuhles, wenn sich ein Fehler zeigt. Diese Nachteile sind durch die Verwendung von Darm-oder Seidensaiten behoben.
