Die üblichen SchnallfeIle haben den Nachteil, dass sie sich verschieben und Schnee zwischen Fell und Ski kommt, der sich daselbst zusammenballt und festfriert.
Die Klebefelle haben diesen Nachteil nicht, sind aber häufig entweder zu wenig aufgeklebt, wobei sich im Laufe eines Anstieges zuerst das Hinterende des Felles löst, dem bald das ganze Fell folgt, so dass es im Freien auf nassem Ski schwer möglich ist, das Fell zu befestigen.

Durch Einhängen des Bügels B in den Haken H und Niederdrücken des Strammerkörpers K kann nun das Hinterende des Seehundfelles einwandfrei fixiert werden.
Es kann also beim Bergaufsteigen das Hinterende des Klebefelles sich nicht lösen, auch wenn das
Fell nicht gut aufgeklebt ist. Klebt hingegen das Fell zu stark und ist es angefroren, in welchem Falle das Abnehmen vor der Abfahrt ohne die erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung schwierig wäre, so gibt der ausgehängte Strammer nebst Gurte eine ausreichende Handhabe, um das festgefrorene Fell vom Ski herunterreissen zu können.
