Fahrradpumpe.

Bicycle pump.
The subject matter of the invention is a bicycle pump which is used in particular fixedly attached to the bicycle frame.
Such pumps are already known. The main disadvantage of the crank drive used in them, however, is that the drive crank has to be removed from its operating position in order not to form an obstacle when using the wheel. The required removability of the crank from its operating position requires its training as a single part so that a loss can easily occur; however, this renders the entire pump system inoperable. Furthermore, the known crank pumps require an expansion of the pump cylinder at the points of the crank, thus high manufacturing costs and an unnecessarily large space requirement.
The bicycle pump according to the invention avoids all of these disadvantages by the piston movement by a, against a fixed point, z. B. causes directly or indirectly supported pivot lever on the bicycle frame. The indirect support on the bicycle frame can take place, for example, by a support lever articulated both on this and on the pivot lever.
The pump, which can be designed as a single-piston pump or double-piston pump, enables both the comfortable inflation of the wheel tires, the assumption of a rest position that is not a hindrance for the cyclist, as well as the constant operational safety and operational readiness, since not only a loss of the entire pump, but also such a component required for operation is excluded under all circumstances.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the pump is shown, u. between FIG. 1 in a longitudinal section, in FIG. 2 in a cross section and in FIGS. 3 and 4 in schematic views which illustrate the attachment of the pump according to the invention to bicycles.
In Fig. 1, for example, a double piston pump with the pump cylinders 1, 1 ', a pump cap 2 that can be unscrewed, for example, and a pump cap 4 that is fixedly mounted, for example, is selected for illustration. On the pump caps there are threaded connection pieces 3, 5 for the feed tubes 21 to 24 leading to the bicycle tubes. The pump pistons 6, 6 ′ are attached to the ends of a common piston rod 7. The piston rod carries an axle pin 8, which receives a guide bearing in wall slots 9, 9 'of the pump cylinder 1, 1'. The length of the slots 9, 9 'corresponds to the stroke length of the pump.
In the exemplary embodiment described, the pivot lever is designed like a fork with the parts 10, 10 ′ and 11, 11 ′ and is rotatably connected to the axle bolt 8. In the exemplary embodiment, the support lever 12 is rotatably mounted in bearing lamellae 13 fixed to the pump cylinder by means of an axle bolt 14 and has a groove-like recess for receiving the bolt 15 of the pivot lever, which is thus connected to the support lever 12 on the

Both levers attach particularly well to the bicycle frame part 19 and therefore do not interfere in any way when using the bicycle. The attachment of the pump or the pump cylinder can be on a tube of the bicycle frame z. B. by drawstrings 20,20 '.
It is particularly advantageous if the pump cylinder passes through both the stroke lengths of the pumps and the guide length of the slots 9 with the same external dimensions and can thus be brought to bear as closely as desired on the pipe 19 over its entire length. The uniformity of the pump body and the guide

body offers the further advantage that a mutual displacement of these parts is excluded and thus a high level of operational reliability is guaranteed under all circumstances.
The schematic FIGS. 3 and 4 show the use of the pump in a men's or. on a ladies bike. In the case of a double piston pump, the supply hoses up to 24 are shown in the rest position and are held in this position in a known manner by fastening clamps arranged on frame parts. For the purpose of inflating the bicycle tires, the wheels are, contrary to common usage, brought into a position such that the wheel tire valves 25 reach the highest point. There is also no need for any uncomfortable stooping when connecting the supply hoses to the wheel tires or when operating the pump.
