Description

  Elektrischer Pendelmotor.

  Electric pendulum motor.

The invention relates to an electric pendulum motor in which the pendulum is set in motion by a solenoid and switched by a breaker operated by the pendulum.

If such a motor is to be used to operate advertising devices that are to be connected to the lighting network, it is advisable to use an incandescent lamp as a series resistor, which then flashes according to the switching rhythm and increases the noticeability. It is also possible to adapt the pendulum motor to the existing mains voltage by simply changing the light bulb.

However, the difficulty arises that, on the one hand, the incandescent lamp should not consume too much power and, on the other hand, the solenoid should not have too many turns and thus resistance, since otherwise the lamp shines too weakly. The latter is particularly difficult with AC voltage because of the inductive resistance of the solenoid. In order to avoid this inconvenience, two solenoids connected in parallel are now used according to the invention which attract a U-shaped iron core. The parallel connection reduces the resistance of the solenoids with the same pulling force.

In the drawing, an embodiment is shown, FIGS. 1-3 showing different positions of the pendulum and interrupter. 4-6 show the interrupter in plan view. The pendulum swings about the axis E and carries at the lower end the U-shaped iron core A, Al, which is drawn into the parallel-connected solenoids B, Bi. These are connected to the network via the circuit breaker C, D, D1, G and the incandescent lamp F. The breaker consists of a fixed contact G, a contact spring C and a swivel D, which can press the spring C down onto the contact G. The swivel D is carried along by a fork-D attached to the pendulum, which is set in such a way that the contact is closed when the pendulum is in the rest position, so that the pendulum starts up automatically when it is switched on.

The fork Di opens the contact by means of the swivel D in one end position, in which the iron cores are drawn into the solenoids, and closes it again in the other end position.
