Ablegevorrichtung für Zigarren oder Zigaretten.
Von einer Aschenschale werden neben andern die zwei Eigenschaften gefordert, dass sie auf ihrem Rande Einbuchtungen zur zeitweisen Ablage von Zigarren oder Zigaretten während des Rauchens und weiters eine gefällige, dem Charakter der Umgebung angepasste Form besitzen. Das Zusammentreffen dieser Voraussetzungen bedingt eine verhältnismässige teure Ausführungsform. Um daher ein solches Gefäss auch für andere Zwecke verwendbar zu machen, ist es zweckmässig, die Ablegevorrichtung getrennt von der Aschenschale zu erzeugen und sie so auf jedes beliebige Gefäss oder auf einen sonstigen Gegenstand aufsetzbar zu machen.
Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft eine solche Ablegevorrichtung, bei welcher der Ablegeteller gegenüber der Klemmvorrichtung in einer oder mehreren Richtungen verschwenkbar ist, so dass diese keinen Teil der Klemmvorrichtung bildende Ablegevorrichtung, gleichgültig, ob sie mit ihrer Klemmvorrichtung auf eine lotrechte, waagrechte oder schiefe Fläche aufgesetzt wird, immer mit ihrem Teller entsprechend eingestellt werden kann.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel veranschaulicht. In Fig. 1 stellt A ein Gefäss mit lotrechter Wand dar. Die Ablegevorrichtung besteht aus dem Ablegeteller E und der besonderen Klemmvorrichtung, die aus den Klemmscheren B und C, deren durch den Druck der Feder G stets gegeneinander gepresste Teile den Gefässrand umfassen, zusammengesetzt ist. Die Klemmscheren tragen, um ein Abrutschen zu verhindern, an ihrer Innenseite den Gummi-oder Korkbelag D. Am Ende der Schere B ist ein Scharnier F angebracht, um das der Ablegeteller E verschwenkt werden kann. Durch Gegeneinanderdrücken der Oberteile Bund C werden die Klemmscheren zwecks Aufsetzens oder Abnahme der Vorrichtung geöffnet.
Um eine möglichst unscheinbare Ausführung der Klemmvorrichtung und deren bequeme Handhabung zu ermöglichen, kann der Ablegeteller E so weit umgelegt werden, dass er parallel und seitlich von B so zu liegen kommt, dass beim Öffnen der Klemmvorrichtung der eine Druckfinger auf dem Oberteil von C, der andere aber nicht auf B, sondern unmittelbar auf E zu liegen kommt (Fig. 1 links). Zum Gebrauche wird sodann der Ablegeteller um 90 Grad verschwenkt, also in die waagrechte Lage gebracht (Fig. 1 rechts). Bei Gefässen mit waagrechtem Rand entfällt das zuletzt beschriebene Umlegen, da der Ablegeteller in diesem Falle parallel zur Schere B in Gebrauchsstellung ist (Fig. 2).
Fig. 3 zeigt die Vorrichtung von vorne gesehen.
Bei Gefässen mit schiefem oder so geformtem Rand, dass die Klemmvorrichtung nach Aufsetzen weder eine waagrechte noch eine lotrechte Lage erhält. wird der Ablegeteller durch Umlegen dennoch in die waagrechte Lage gebracht.
Bei Schaffung eines gewissen Reibungswiderstandes im Scharnier F kann der Ablegeteller in jeder Stellung festgestellt. werden ; es kann aber auch eine Feder vorgesehen sein, die den Ablegeteller in bestimmten Punkten seiner Verschwenkung feststellt. Der Teller kann endlich um F oder einen andern Punkt, überdies auch gegen die Zeichnungsebene verschwenkbar angeordnet werden. Es kann insbesondere F als Kugelgelenk ausgebildet werden.

Depositing device for cigars or cigarettes.
The two properties required of an ashtray are, among others, that it has indentations on its edge for temporarily storing cigars or cigarettes while smoking and, furthermore, a pleasing shape that is adapted to the character of the surroundings. The coincidence of these requirements requires a relatively expensive embodiment. Therefore, in order to make such a vessel usable for other purposes, it is advisable to produce the depositing device separately from the ash pan and to make it attachable to any vessel or any other object.
The present invention provides such a depositing device in which the depositing plate can be pivoted in one or more directions with respect to the clamping device, so that this depositing device, which does not form part of the clamping device, does not matter whether it is placed with its clamping device on a vertical, horizontal or inclined surface , can always be adjusted accordingly with your plate.
An exemplary embodiment is illustrated in the drawing. In Fig. 1, A represents a vessel with a vertical wall. The depositing device consists of the depositing plate E and the special clamping device, which is composed of the clamping scissors B and C, the parts of which are always pressed against one another by the pressure of the spring G encompass the edge of the vessel . In order to prevent slipping, the clamping scissors carry the rubber or cork covering D on their inside. A hinge F is attached to the end of the scissors B, around which the storage plate E can be pivoted. In the case of vessels with an oblique rim or a rim that is shaped so that the clamping device is neither in a horizontal nor in a vertical position after it has been placed. the storage plate is nevertheless brought into the horizontal position by turning it over.
If a certain frictional resistance is created in the hinge F, the storage plate can be locked in any position. will ; however, a spring can also be provided which fixes the storage plate in certain points of its pivoting. The plate can finally be arranged so as to be pivotable about F or another point, and moreover also relative to the plane of the drawing. In particular, F can be designed as a ball joint.
