Der eingesteckte Sperrschlüssel 5 ist entsprechend dem mit ihm zu verwendenden Mieterschlüssel, d. h. so geformt, dass beim Öffnen des Schlosses mittels dieses Mieterschlüssels die durch den Riegel 7 mittels der Stifte 11 mitgenommenen Zuhaltungen 12 ungehindert in der Pfeilrichtung verschoben werden können.
Um eine möglichst vollkommene Sicherheit zu bieten, wird dieser Sperrschlüssel auch benützt, um eine Sperre für den Schlossriegel 7 zu betätigen.
