Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein auf mindestens zwei Stützgestellen aufliegendes Bügelbrett, welches auf einem der Endgestelle angelenkt ist. Dies hat den Zweck, das Brett beim Aufschieben von Schössen od. dgl. einseitig hochheben zu können. Die Erfindung ist nun darin gelegen, dass das Bügelbrett in der ausgeschwenkten Lage durch mechanische Mittel, beispielsweise durch eine gezahnte Stützstange feststellbar ist. Gegenüber einer bekannten Ausführungsform des Bügelbrettes, bei der dieses durch eine Feder verschwenkt und in der versehen enkten Lage gehalten wird, hat das Bügelbrett gemäss der Erfindung insbesondere den Vorteil, dass es in der verschwenkten Lage unbeweglich ist, was das Aufziehen des Kleidungsstückes wesentlich erleichtert.
Der Vorderteil des abhebbaren Endes kann in drei Teile unterteilt sein, von welchen der mittlere zungenförmig gestaltet ist und die beiden Seitenteile herunterklappbar und feststellbar sind, um Gegenstände mit einem Umfang der kleiner als der ganze Umfang des Brettes ist, bügeln zu können.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform eines Bügelbrettes gemäss der Erfindung dargestellt, u. zw. zeigen Fig. 1 ein Bügelbrett in Ansieht, Fig. 2 in Untersicht und Fig. 3 den Vorderteil zusammengeklappt in Ansicht.

Sollen Ärmel gebügelt werden, dann wird vorerst das Vorderende in gleicher Weise aufgehoben, nachher wird die Sperrleiste i entfernt, dann werden die Seitenteile g, die mittlerweile herunter geklappt sind, einwärts geklappt und der Sperriegel h über sie geschoben. Nunmehr wird der Laden durch Aufheben des Feststellarmes e gesenkt.
