Grate made of flat iron bars with an exchangeable fire path.

In the previously known grids made of flat iron bars, the stoking was made very difficult due to the lugs serving as spacers and the use of exchangeable fire tracks was thus severely disadvantaged.

The invention avoids this drawback in that the fire path runs smoothly over the entire length without transverse attachments and the bars of each bar group are connected to one another by screw bolts and spacers. the groups of rods being kept at a mutual distance from one another in that the ends of the bolts of adjacent groups abut against one another.

In this case, the connecting means of the grate bars that are required per se form the spacers between the individual groups within a bar group, whereby the advantage is achieved. that special spacers are avoided and thus also a weight saving occurs.
 EMI1.1
Section, FIG. 6 the top view of a number of fire tracks on the carriers, FIG. 7 a further embodiment of the fire track.

The fire path rod consists of a smoothly running head a with flaps b, whose

are inclined towards each other at the bottom. The tabs b taper to an acute or right angle on both outer surfaces, and the transverse edges of the fire path run perpendicular or at an angle of 45 "to the side surfaces. The tabs b can have one or more incisions e '.
 EMI1.3
iron beam e reaches away and serves to hold on to a cross bridge or a grate bar beam. on which the lamellas e rest with a recessed part / '. The other end of the girder e tapers to a point and rests loosely on the cross girder or grate bar girder of the furnace.

The carriers e consist of flat iron and have holes y. through which screw bolts pass, which maintain the spacing of the individual beams, which are fastened together in bundles of two or more.
