Description

Device for controlling two electric circuits via a common line.
Devices are known which allow two or more circuits to be controlled via a single common control line. These known devices use a different frequency for each circuit, and the various circuits are separated from one another by combinations of inductors and capacitors. Such devices are complex and usually have at least little mutual interference between the circuits.
The invention achieves the same purpose in two different circuits with the simplest means, u. zw. in that electric valves with opposite valve action are connected in series with the two control organs as well as with the two controlled organs, in such a way that the one control organ and one controlled organ have one Stromrichtung, the second control organ and the second controlled Organ is assigned the opposite current direction.
The mode of operation of such a device is explained using the illustration. 1 and 1 'represent the control organs, for example switches. 4 and 4' the controlled organs, for example relays. 2 or 2 'and 3 and 3' indicate the electrical valves connected in series, 5 represents an alternating current source from which the device is fed. In this arrangement, closing the switch 1 causes the relay 4 to respond, and closing the switch 1 'causes the relay 4' to respond; this is clear from the flow directions of the flow through the individual valves.
A simultaneous response to both relays by actuating a single switch is not possible, because a current passed through the circuit of the relevant switch can only flow through one of the two relay circuits, depending on the assignment of the valves, due to its specific direction.
